I connected with the incredible @johnRmullaney and purchased an original 2000 prelim of his Yavin 4 temple cross-section.
Originally released as part of DK's INSIDE THE WORLDS OF STAR WARS (2004), it has been re-published numerous times.
A real piece of STAR WARS history.
One of the things I love about creating cross-section art is the challenge of making fictional technology feel believable.
Every pipe, conduit and panel has to earn its place.

The art begins with my own 3D model to lock the geometry, then drawn and painted traditionally before compositing the final image. Was fun editing the film.
