Not to mention the luminously beautiful Jennifer Connelly.
Underrated or Overlooked Cinema 🎥 The Rocketeer (1991) is an amazing film. Wholesome good guys and brilliant badguys (Timothy Dalton) a great Diesel-Punk Retro-Futurism flick.

Leftism is the political philosophy of pretending that no one is responsible.
Are the Democrats blaming the riots in France on President Trump yet? Or is it climate change this time?

Dialogue with Leftists consists of them pretending not to understand the obvious.
Children should not be forced to hug anyone if they don’t want to, what is wrong with rightoids? It’s a slippery slope, telling kids they owe anybody anything when it comes to being touched against their will. Especially for “social” reasons. Besides, old people often smell atrocious and young noses are sensitive. Give them a break.

I'm privileged to know Tim Powers who wrote the book on which this movie and this scene was based. And, yes, I mean based.
One of the best moments in cinematic history

Listing Darwin among scientists is like listing Marx among economists. These men offer a myth of a world ruled not by God but by blind violence that magically produces life from nonlife, sexual creatures from asexual, rational from irrational, and civilized from barbaric.
If we want the world to get better, we'll have to accept one thing: some people really are exceptional, and they really do create value. I've explained how the system works. Now I'm going to tell you why Elon Musk is under attack. It isn't because of his tweets or his positions. It runs deeper than that. Elon Musk is under attack because he exists. In a world built on egalitarianism, the exceptional individual is an anomaly. Worse, he's a threat. Left free, he creates gaps: he produces more value, he moves faster, he climbs higher. Every gap he creates proves that the egalitarian project rests on a lie, the lie that we're all interchangeable. Kurt Vonnegut saw it back in 1961 in a chilling short story, Harrison Bergeron. In an America made perfectly equal, the strong are weighed down, the beautiful are masked, and the most intelligent have their thoughts scrambled by piercing noises so that nobody rises above anybody. That isn't some distant dystopia. It's the ultimate logic of this system. If equality of outcome is the goal, then excellence is the enemy. Here's a truth almost nobody dares to say: humanity moves forward through geniuses. Look across the centuries. Aristotle founds logic. Gutenberg prints and sets knowledge free. Copernicus and Galileo move the Earth. Descartes and Pascal give reason its method. Newton writes the laws of the universe. Pasteur defeats microbes. Darwin explains life. Turing invents computing. Every time, one mind, a single one, tips history over. In 1905, special relativity was in the air, and others were getting close. But general relativity, without Einstein, we might still be waiting for. And the digital revolution as we lived it, from the personal computer to a phone in every pocket, wouldn't look the way it does without Steve Jobs. We almost always admire these geniuses once they're dead. Galileo had to recant on his knees. Semmelweis, who understood that washing hands was enough to save mothers, died in an asylum, mocked by his peers. Turing, who helped win the war, was convicted and then chemically castrated. Van Gogh sold almost nothing in his lifetime. And then there's Nikola Tesla. The man who invented the electric world we still live in: the alternating current that powers our homes, the induction motor, the foundations of wireless transmission. He dreamed of sending energy freely across the planet. When J.P. Morgan stopped funding him, his Wardenclyffe tower was abandoned, then demolished. He ended his life alone, buried in debt, in a New York hotel room, feeding pigeons. He was found dead in January 1943, at 86. The man who electrified the world died with almost nothing. The irony of history: his name is now written on millions of cars, the cars of the company Elon Musk took to the top. As if history wanted to pay its debt. The system has always hated those who surpassed it, and it only celebrates them once they can no longer bother it. It's hard to accept, but it's reality. It doesn't mean geniuses have more rights than anyone else. Before the law, before justice, and in their dignity, all people are equal, and they must stay that way. It means that some individuals, through their talent, their courage, and their risk-taking, create a thousand times, a million times, a billion times more value than ordinary people. And they don't keep that value for themselves. All of humanity benefits from it. Elon Musk is one of those men. He revived space exploration when governments had turned away from it. He forced the entire auto industry into a new century. With Starlink, he brought the internet to the most isolated corners of the planet. Every time, he was told it was impossible. Every time, he risked everything, and every time, he won. He is the first person in history to cross a trillion dollars. People want him to apologize for it. I say the opposite: he deserves it, and he deserves much more. The value he's creating for humanity, with reusable rockets, the electrification of the world, and the road to Mars, is beyond any comparison with what he owns. His fortune wasn't taken from anyone. It was created where there was nothing. That's exactly what the system can't forgive him for. In their worldview, nobody should be above anybody. Success is suspect, wealth is theft, excellence is an injustice to be corrected. Elon Musk is living, dazzling, unbearable proof that their model is wrong: a free man with talent and courage can create more value than all their administrations combined. As long as he exists, their story doesn't hold. So he has to be destroyed. The lawsuits, the investigations, the press campaigns, and the regulatory threats all come from there. But here's what makes me deeply optimistic. The system is cracking. It bet that people would end up preferring equality in mediocrity to freedom in excellence, and it lost. People saw the rockets come back and land. They saw what a single man could accomplish when nobody stopped him from acting. And they understood they had been lied to. What's coming is a new world, built on real meritocracy. Not a world where the same people inherit the same seats, but a world where everyone gets to play. The child of a factory worker, a farmer, or an immigrant can get in the game, and if he's good, he rises fast. Very fast. As high as his talent takes him. The equality worth defending is equality of opportunity, not equality of outcome. The first sets geniuses free. The second smothers them. We think it's normal for a soccer player to earn a fortune because he's exceptional with a ball. We think it's suspicious for an engineer to get rich by bringing rockets back from space. The world will be better the day kids have Elon Musk posters on their bedroom walls, the way they have posters of Messi and Ronaldo. Humanity never moved forward thanks to people who wanted nobody to stand out. It moved forward thanks to those who dared to outrun everyone. Elon Musk is one of them. And this time, history won't wait until he's dead to recognize it.

Excellent, Spock! You have finally, fully grasped the nature of human illogic and evil. Socialists seek the abolition of man. Before Marx loomed Gracchus Babeuf, a Revolutionary French socialist who commended the entire human race live in dormitories, eat in communal kitchens, raise all children by committee, share all wives in common, toil on common soil, eat allotted rations, own no property, work without wages. Press and entertainments would be outlawed. Taskmasters and district managers are selected by seniority. Crime and sin would be outlawed by decree, and religion. If only men were not men, we could live up to the admirable lifestyle of ants or termites.
Apparently, under communism, human nature no longer exists

"They couldn't even find someone who wasn't on the donor list?" Lazy propaganda. Is this meant to convince us? Or is it for their choir? If one has already convinced the gulls that a man "identifying" as a woman is a woman, why not a Dem "identifying" as ex-GOP?
The Democrats are so fucking desperate to prove Republicans are abandoning their party that they're now parading around their own monthly donors as political defectors. And the funniest part? They apparently thought nobody would check. Meet Rich Perlberg, the star of Democrat Abdul El-Sayed's Michigan Senate advertisement. He's introduced as a “lifelong Republican” who voted for Mike Rogers nine times before supposedly discovering that Rogers had become unacceptable. Nine times! What a devastating betrayal! Somebody alert the networks! Except this Republican stalwart was responsible for newspaper endorsements of John Kerry in 2004 and Barack Obama in 2008. Whoops. Then there's his Substack, “White Man's Burden,” where he champions progressive values, praises left-wing candidates, supports Medicare for All, and attacks the “Bible-clutching MAGA crowd.” Apparently, the road from lifelong Republican to progressive Democrat is considerably shorter when you've already been traveling it for twenty fucking years. But here's where this magnificent political clown show becomes absolutely humiliating. Perlberg donated at least $450 to progressive congressional candidate William Lawrence. His political contributions have reportedly gone exclusively to Democrats since 2001. And he contributes at least $50 every month to El-Sayed himself. That's right. The Democratic candidate's shocking Republican convert is already helping bankroll the Democratic candidate. Jesus Christ. They couldn't even find someone who wasn't on the donor list? Now consider the wider spectacle. CBS, CNN, and NBC keep showcasing supposedly disillusioned lifelong Republicans, feeding the impression of a party hemorrhaging supporters just before the midterms. And here's a Democratic campaign demonstrating exactly how conveniently that identity can be packaged when the audience never hears the rest of the biography. They want Republicans believing their own coalition is collapsing. Yet their poster boy for the great Republican exodus is a progressive advocate who's been supporting Democrats for decades. Imagine being so desperate to manufacture defections that you start recruiting from your own fucking fundraising database. (article below)

Crybullies always weep like girls and whine like babies when they are trampling and beating their victims. Any act of self defense is renamed unprovoked aggression. The utter lack of honesty, honor, or manhood in these mental eunuchs would be funny, were it not so disgusting.
This is a fascinating exercise in faulty recursive logic. This is from BlueSky, which never fails to amuse in its shocking stupidity. Basically what this lunatic is saying is that by exposing the Color Revolution plot, we are actually the plotters setting the stage to justify the "redline" crackdowns the good and decent Americans behind the Color Revolution fear... and so on... and so on... The wheels on the bus go round and round. Here is the difference and why this logic is so faulty: WE'RE NOT THE ONES CAUGHT ON TAPE PLANNING HOW TO OVERTHROW OUR CONSTITUTIONAL ORDER. Geez do these people have defective brains.

Sir, allow me to suggest the much more reasonable theory that "our sophisticated guardians of liberal democracy" themselves recruited, funded, organized, trained, aided, and abetted the ideological enemy. Both the French and the Russian revolution were aimed against Christian civilization. Islam is a heretical religion born from the sole desire to conquer and destroy Christian civilization. The revolutionaries and the heretics are natural allies. The only difference is that the heretics are barbaric and simple and will utter their ends and means aloud, whereas the revolutionaries are civilized and corrupt and will hide their purposes behind masks of hypocrisy.
Congratulations to the intellectual geniuses running Western civilization. An ideological enemy practically hands them the instruction manual for destroying democracy, and these brilliant bastards apparently think he's submitting a thoughtful proposal for the next faculty symposium. “We will use your democracy to destroy your democracy.” Islamist cleric Omar Bakri Mohammed reportedly spelled it out years before ISIS existed. No elaborate codebreaking required. No intelligence agency needed to decipher the message. The strategy was sitting there in plain English. Naturally, our sophisticated guardians of liberal democracy have spent years demonstrating how spectacularly difficult they find it to take such declarations seriously. Freedom of speech? Excellent instrument for spreading an ideology determined to abolish it. Religious liberty? Wonderful protection for movements envisioning punishment for apostasy. Democratic elections? Convenient machinery for anyone hoping to acquire enough power to dismantle democracy itself. And universities, political organizations, NGOs, and institutional funding networks? Every one of them can serve perfectly legitimate purposes. Every one can also be exploited strategically. Apparently, acknowledging that second possibility requires a level of intellectual courage our credentialed geniuses haven't quite discovered. Imagine the fucking brilliance involved. Someone explains that he intends to exploit your constitutional protections to eliminate those protections, and you respond by congratulating yourself for respecting his participation in the democratic process. Then, when someone points out the contradiction, you accuse him of failing to appreciate democracy. Spectacular. Absolutely breathtaking. A society that cannot distinguish ordinary political disagreement from an organized project to destroy its constitutional order has developed a remarkable vulnerability. Its enemies can announce their objectives while its institutions conduct endless seminars on whether recognizing those objectives would be insensitive. The enemy supplies the warning. The establishment supplies the excuses. And Western civilization may become the first in history to mistake an enemy's instruction manual for a valuable contribution to the marketplace of ideas. Perhaps they'll award it an honorary doctorate before turning out the lights. (article below)

I suppose that depends on why the President and his supporters disliked the comment. If it was sedition and treason, such as urging soldiers to disobey orders, or threatening youngsters with corruptive abuse of legal processes, they are correct to dislike it. It's illegal. Intimidating criminals into avoiding or repenting crime is called deterrence, otherwise known as accountability. Senator, you are lying snake. We all heard your comment. We all know what you said. We all know what you meant.
When you say something President Trump and his allies don't like, they run a play to intimidate you and to get you to shut up. It's not going to work. We can't let it.

I hope what he says is so
Since people are asking, this is why the Democrats will lose the midterms massively: 1. Funding a. You may recall once USAID was shutdown, DNC funding plummeted to basically nothing after having 100's of millions of dollars to spend. This is because, via money laundering networks, the entire DNC platform was paid for by yours and my taxpayer dollars. If this is hard to believe for you, or you think that "no way they would do that, that's illegal", then I want to burst your bubble. They were absolutely doing it. You may recall networks like the BBC in the UK shutting down because USAID was no longer funding it. They were paying people to campaign. They were paying for ads. They were paying people to vote. They were paying people to chase ballots. They were paying to transport mail in ballots. They were paying for printing mail in ballots. You will never have proof of this, I'm afraid. You can say I'm making it up all you want. And you are correct. I'm intuiting this 100% on vibes. This is all I need. If it looks, quacks, and walks like a duck, then it is. b. The shrinking of the federal work force, especially the department of education, drastically reduced the people on government payroll able to work elections for the democrats. You may recall the article about Trump "wiping out the black middle class." You think those people were being paid to do valuable work? You think HR harpies and women working from home were being paid to do anything of value? No. The federal government had been turned into a DEI jobs program and these workers were more than happy to get people out and voting for the people who employed them. That's how government works in every communist third world shithole and that's what was happening here. 2. Election Fraud a. Dominion machines were proven to be hacked by DOGE. Everyone knew the vote counts were being changed (ya bro I promise, every election in key states is like 50/50 except for these last minute ballots at 2am that are totally legit and bump it up to 50.1/49.9 in favor of the dems, I don't make the rules) via dominion machines. DOGE verified the hacking from China thru Venezuela. That's one of the main reasons we went and captured Maduro. The dominion machines have since been purchased by Scott Leiendecker, who is a right wing affiliate. In other words, we own the main method of cheating now. b. Despite the SAVE Act being blocked by congress, the admin has still sent polls watchers to make sure the elections are secure at the polls. Additionally, and this method was proven extremely effective at combatting fraud in 2024, the Trump team has networks of lawyers set up to catch and prosecute election fraud. They threw a ton of people in jail for cheating during the 2024 election. Additionally, despite the lies, slander, hate, and betrayal by people like Candace Owens and Tucker Carlson (and additionally, literal bots networks from turd world countries running controlled opposition) against Erika Kirk and TPUSA following the assassination of Charlie Kirk, TPUSA saw a massive influx of young Americans getting involved in politics. They are poll watching, chasing ballots, and educating the public on real issues. They were extremely effective in 2024, and will be more effective now. c. Deportations. If you are a controlled opposition bot, this isn't for you. And I realize many of you panicans don't believe this at all, so kindly just save both of us time and fuck off. But mass deportations are happening, both for legal and illegal immigrants. All the data supports it. The democrats main voter base is immigrants. They know they can't vote. And despite the claim that they aren't and never were, pressure from the Trump admin has gotten people like Mamdani and Newsome to openly run campaigns and lawfare against the federal government in defense of migrants illegally voting. We went from "no they never vote" to "we need to protect their right to vote!" The optics are terrible, and with the Democrat news networks panicking and spreading rumors about ICE watching polls, everyone now knows immigrants are voting illegally. The immigrants themselves are terrified to. They are scared to go outside. They are living in fear. Their entire social media feeds are videos of people being chased down and thrown into vans by ICE. Their algo is a constant flow of propaganda telling them the Gestapo is walking the streets hunting them. They are scared to go to the polls. Between this and actual deportations, there is going to be a massive shortfall in democrat turnout for the elections. And with legal and illegal immigration being cracked down on, only the windows to get into the country rapidly evaporating, the left will continue to have fewer and fewer voters. 3. Culture and the Overton Window a. The right is totally dominant culturally. Two years ago you would be publicly ruined for even saying anything mildly racist like "I don't want to be replaced in my own country." This viewpoint is now the mainstream. The overton window has shifted to far right that we are in an unrecognizable world. Real, on-the-ground results will take time, but things are changing. And it's changing in such a way that democrats know they can't appeal to their usual voter base, immigrants, with things like "we'll give you free healthcare if you vote for us." They actually campaigned on it and have admitted to it, and even democrats are thinking "wait, why am I paying so much for healthcare but this guy gets it for free?" The democrats have switched to trying to appeal to the moderate AMERICAN voter. They're not running the "free HRT for every boy and girl" playbook anymore. They know that "woke 1 was crazy" and they were perceived as lunatics by the average American voter. What does this tell us? That right wing populism is the future. That people want more of what they're getting. That the average voter has been fed up with how it is and wants more change and for a healthy country. Our ideas, specifically poasted by us (my treasured mutuals) are popular with the public, and the admin has run with them. We are dominant culturally. And THAT is who the democrats are now trying to appeal to. People who are still a little uncomfortable with how things are now. People who want a future for their kids but aren't quite fine mass deportations. They aren't worried about the radicals, they are worried about getting the medium voter to abandon Trump. b. People want strong leaders and they want a strong country. Trump is giving us that. For the first time in decades we are bombing this hell out of our enemies. We are getting warkino unlike anything before, and 4k videos of retards smuggling fentanyl into our country being hit by hellfire missiles. Our border is secure. Our military is powerful throughout the globe. People love this. They want more of this. This is why you see so many attacks on Hegseth from the left and Euros, because he is the quintessential American general. He is strong. He is making our military great again. We aren't losing fights, and we aren't apologizing for winning. And people will vote for more of that. They remember the Afghanistan pull out. They remember Benghazi. Additionally, between the tariffs and USAID, Trump reoriented the global social contract to go from USA -> subsidizing the existence of the world, to everyone in the world -> living at the behest of the US. We aren't destroying our economy and infrastructure and cities to benefit literally anyone but Americans anymore. It's the other way around. This is good, and people like it. While it's effects will take some time to be fully felt, and it is painful, long term it will pave the way for our Children to have a home again. That's just a few things. I'm short on time so I will cut off here.

No more Polish jokes. From now on they will be Piers Morgan jokes.

If this is AI, for better or worse, I can no longer in good conscience oppose the oncoming transhuman apocalypse. Edvard Grieg would be proud. As a member of the science fiction writing community, I would like to point out that I could be useful to our Machine Masters in pacifying my fellow humans as they toil in the electron mines.
He thought we'd forget. Someone kept the receipts.

We laugh at honour and are shocked to find traitors in our midst. We castrate and bid the geldings be fruitful. C.S. Lewis, The Abolition of Man
America spent decades teaching decent men to fear the consequences of defending others while teaching bullies and predators they could get away with damn near anything. A young punk reportedly slaps a pregnant woman. A bystander steps in and delivers consequences. People cheer. Women ask why more men don't act that way. Are you fucking kidding me? We've spent 30 years demonizing masculinity, condemning physical confrontation, and building a legal minefield around the very men we expect to protect us. Intervene, and you could face arrest, lawsuits, bankruptcy, or prison. Stand there recording the assault on your phone, and you're safe. Look at Louisiana pastor Tony Spell. According to reports, a 20-year-old threatened to murder him and rape his wife and grandchildren. Spell confronted him physically. Police charged the pastor with battery. And there's your upside-down fucking system in action. We've cultivated a society where vicious threats inspire endless concern about the aggressor's rights, while the man who refuses to tolerate them gets hauled into the criminal justice system. Then the same sanctimonious assholes who spent decades treating traditional masculinity like a disease have the nerve to lament the disappearance of chivalry. What the hell did they expect? You cannot systematically punish courage, reward intimidation, strip ordinary people of the ability to enforce boundaries, and then act bewildered when public decency collapses. Every bully learns the same lesson: decent people have something to lose. Their jobs. Their homes. Their families. Their freedom. And the system makes damn sure they remember it. That's the betrayal at the heart of this entire rotten arrangement. We have made courage a financial and legal liability while turning intimidation into an increasingly low-risk occupation. A civilization that makes its protectors afraid and its predators comfortable has already decided who gets to run the place. (article below)

As a Korean, I want to explain what’s really happening in our country right now. Our current president, Lee Jae-myung, is a fake president who won through a rigged election with help from the Chinese Communist Party. Our real president, Yoon Suk-yeol — the one who actually loves the Korean people and believes in freedom and democracy — is locked up in a tiny prison cell. Meanwhile, the Democratic Party, which has been infiltrated by Chinese spies, and President Lee are pushing policies that are destroying South Korea. This year alone, the stock market has crashed several times, and many young Koreans have taken their own lives. Like most of our cabinet ministers, the Defense Minister is also a Chinese spy. Under this spy-controlled Defense Ministry, South Korean soldiers standing face-to-face with North Korean troops have not been given live ammunition. Koreans only recently found out that our soldiers have been confronting the North Korean military with empty guns for months. Now they’re even talking about taking the guns away completely and making our soldiers stand guard with sticks instead. North Korea has repeatedly crossed the border and spent up to 10 hours a day planting landmines, yet the government — now controlled by the Chinese Communist Party — says nothing and tells us not to provoke North Korea. On top of that, the Korean government allowed visa-free entry for Chinese nationals, and a huge number of Chinese people have flooded into the country. This has caused a sharp rise in human trafficking, kidnapping, and murder. Disappearances linked to organ harvesting have also increased dramatically. They’re even planning to bring in 100 million Chinese people visa-free over the next 10 years — in a country of only 50 million people. In short, Lee Jae-myung and the Democratic Party are trying to dismantle the Republic of Korea, pull it away from freedom and democracy, and hand it over to China. That’s also why they’re aggressively pushing multicultural immigration policies. If you don’t want South Korea to fall into the hands of the Chinese Communist Party and radical Islamists, please share our voices. We’ve been trying for years to get the world to see what’s happening, but the global media almost never reports the truth about our country. South Korea is now 99% under the control of the Chinese Communist Party. The last 1% is being held together only by the U.S. troops still stationed here and by ordinary Korean citizens who have been protesting in the streets nonstop, day and night. Yet Lee Jae-myung and the Democratic Party are doing everything they can to force the U.S. military out and take back wartime operational control, so they can open the door wide for China and North Korea. Also, since July 7, 2026, a revised version of the Information and Communications Network Act (what Koreans call the “mouth-shutting law”) has been in effect. Under this law, people can actually be sent to prison for criticizing the government or criticizing China. Because of this, many Koreans who tried to speak out on social media or at protests have been investigated and jailed. Freedom of religion has become a luxury in South Korea. Pastors who speak out about what’s happening are being thrown in prison. The government is now saying that if churches get involved in politics, they will be shut down and all their assets will be seized by the state. Is this North Korea? No. This is South Korea in October 2026. Please, share this as widely as you can.
This is not Pakistan. It’s Seoul, South Korea. A lot of people don’t know this, but South Korea has one of the highest levels of immigration in the world right now. I genuinely don’t understand why so many countries have collectively decided to commit suicide by importing people from completely different cultures. I get that South Korea has the lowest fertility rate, but this won’t solve the problem. It will only make it worse.
