To mark the 4th anniversary of Russia's full-scale war against Ukraine, Social Justice Secretary @S_A_Somerville attended a Memorial Service and Wreath Laying at Edinburgh City Chambers.
The service was in memory of Ukrainians who have given their lives to defend their nation.

Four years ago I joined a protest at the Russian consulate in Edinburgh in support of #Ukraine.
I also led the @FCDOGovUK Dept charged with investigating war crimes. My team responded with tenacity and dedication, working under enormous pressure. Proud ❤️

Huge thanks to all our volunteers who helped serve Christmas lunches to around 500 members of the local community at Easter Road on Christmas Day! 💚
£20m is a welcome investment into one of our poorest neighbourhoods and will help to reduce poverty in our city.

Creative Gatherings at HCF 💜💚💛💙
Recently our New Scots group gathered to celebrate and create traditional Ukrainian Motanka Dolls - symbols of love, protection and a connection to roots.
While creating the dolls each participant was able to connect authentically with themselves; brining out moments of creativity, inner peace and heartfelt inspiration from each other.
Together, the group of women and teenagers built a warm and kind connection with each other in an atmosphere filled with laughter, care, and meaning.
💜💚💛💙
