Scrap @IrishWater if you want better water services. It has gotten worse since they took "control". More boil water notices, chemical spills more leaks and left for weeks. Give water services back to local authorities if you want a better service

EMBATTLED Minister James Browne's much-vaunted new Housing Activation Office will be superseded by a separate task force overseen by his Fianna Fáil and Cabinet colleague Jack Chambers.

🚨Breaking: New rents average over €2000 a month for the first time and is much higher in Dublin, Cork, Galway and Limerick. This is outrageous.
Fianna Fáil and Fine Gael have abandoned renters. They can’t be trusted to sort this out. Rent increases need to be stopped for three years and we need to put a months rent back in tenants pockets.
We need to give our young people a chance.

Water charges are on the way back as wastage targeted
The charges, expected to be capped at €500 per year, will apply to homes using abnormally large amounts of water.
Every home would have a free allowance of water that Uisce Éireann (formerly Irish Water) says is well above the average annual domestic usage.
