The CEO of Palantir warned everyone not to trust Anthropic. His message was that Anthropicโ€™s AI would steal your unique intellectual property, the secret sauce of your business: โ€œyour Alpha.โ€ We have now more evidence of this fact from a small startup that has an AI Financial Advisor. The previous business under siege was Figma. Beware. Use Open Weight Models.
Let me tell you a story about how unethical Anthropic is. In April, the Anthropic team began heavily courting our engineering team to tell them corporate secrets, technical details, and future plans for @cfosilvia. They pretended their interest was due to our exploding popularity and accelerating compute usage, but it quickly became apparent that Anthropic was fishing for details on how we built our product and why it was so popular. This included the Anthropic team trying to wine-and-dine our engineers, including a infamous steak dinner where someone told our team "don't worry about it, this is on Dario." Our team was not born yesterday, so we quickly realized what was happening and refused to share sensitive information and technical details with the Anthropic team. As we suspected, Anthropic was trying to get information from us, so they could build a competing product. Some people on their team must have a guilty conscious because they messaged us a few days ago to give us "a heads-up" that they were launching a competing product. Thankfully, the Silvia engineering team has been aggressively working to get off the frontier models for the last ~ 6 months. That effort has been highly successful, because our compute costs are ~ 97% lower when we use our own model & hardware, the latency is lower, and the accuracy of answers materially increases as well. The sad thing for Anthropic is they have now released an inferior product and they had to sell their soul to do it. The only thing worse than being a trillion-dollar company that can't beat a 10-person team is being a trillion-dollar company that no one trusts and everyone knows is unethical. Serious investors continue to choose @cfosilvia over ChatGPT, Claude, and other frontier companies because these products are not optimized to solve the actual user problem. Today, Anthropic launched a Claude wrapper that is masquerading as a personal finance product. Best of luck to them. But I will take the Silvia misfits vs the Anthropic losers any day of the week. if you want to support people trying to do things the right way, and help investors be more informed, then consider signing up for Silvia today: silvia.com

Free Cloudflare tip: Block /wp-content/upgrade/ Select your domain first Security โ†’ Security rules โ†’ Custom rules Create rule: (http.request.uri.path contains "/wp-content/upgrade") Action: Block Works on Free plan (5 rules). Do this + server deny for best protection
โš ๏ธALERT: Hackers are now targeting WordPress, the software behind 39.5% of all websites online. A critical flaw lets attackers take over a WordPress site in the seconds it spends updating, without needing to log in. During a full update, WordPress briefly stages its installer in a public folder, and anyone who reaches it in that window can run their own code on the server. It affects every version from 4.7 to 7.1.3, nearly 10 years of releases going back to December 2016. What has happened so far: Security firm Wordfence flagged the flaw, now tracked as CVE-2026-119977 Its first firewall block came just 9 minutes after the protection went live It saw more than 18,500 attack attempts in the first 21 hours after the flaw went public Some attackers spent about 14.5 hours repeatedly checking small groups of sites, waiting to catch one mid-update Wordfence blocked 12,632 attempts in a single 24-hour period On Nov 3, US cyber agency CISA confirmed active attacks and ordered federal agencies to patch by Nov 6 Whatโ€™s being done: WordPress has released fixed versions for every affected branch, including 7.1.4. Wordfence is blocking the attacks with a firewall rule. Wordfence urges site owners to update as soon as possible, and says they can block access to PHP files in /wp-content/upgrade/ before updating for extra protection. If you run a WordPress site, update now, and take that precaution first if you can.

In case you want to know how unethical Anthropic is. The tl;dr is that they wined and dined an AI financial platformโ€™s team so they could try to steal their secrets as they built their own version. Remember how Amazon did this to sellers on their platform? Anthropic is worse.

Using frontier AI APIs is like having a spy sitting in every internal meeting an thought process. Happened to Pompliano. Solution? Use Open Weights AI from 3rd party inference providers.

Wordpress Security Alert? Answer with RADICAL UPDATE AUTOMATION: 1) wp-config.php: define( 'WP_AUTO_UPDATE_CORE', 'minor' ); 2) https://x/wp-admin/update-core.php should show: "This site is automatically kept up to date with maintenance and security releases of WordPress only."

Good start JD, but these were basically the core issues of campaign promises of 2024. 1) End the war 2) Focus on cost of living/inflation 3) Put America First 4) Change our relationship to Israel Republicans lost yesterday becauseโ€™24 campaign promises were not delivered, Trump called us panicans and me a traitor and you stayed silent and supported Trump while he failed, you all primaried Thomas Massie with millions from Israel, ignored rape victims of Epstein and company, and MAHA was ignored. Just to name a few issues. You should have listened to me and Tucker and others who told you early. Blaming the Iran war wonโ€™t work and itโ€™s not going to be an easy pivot.
One of the things the data analysts on our side obsessed over was "composition"โ€”whether the electorate looked close enough to 2024 for Republicans to win. And despite polls that showed a Democrat blowout, the data kept on telling us the same story: in some states turnout was merely OK, in other states it was downright amazing, and in no state was it catastrophic. There was a genuine sense of optimism on our team: our people were showing up. So, I asked the smartest data guy I know, does that mean we're going to shock the world? "No," he told me. "We might do better than the polls suggest. But the data is telling us that a lot of Trump/Vance 2024 voters are pissed and planning to vote for the other guys. Our voters are turning out, but they may not vote for us." Well, that looks prophetic now. Our voters did show up. In Florida, for example, the electorate was 9 points more Republican than Democrat, just a couple points worse than 2024. Undoubtedly there were places we could have done better on turnout. But the main problem is not turnout. The main problem is that many people who voted for Trump/Vance in 2024 voted for Democrats in 2026. There will be a lot of infighting and arguing over what happened and why that is. One of the pollsters I really respect told me that our economic messaging wasnโ€™t sharp enough down the stretch. Iโ€™m sure thatโ€™s true. But the real reason we lost is obvious to almost everyone. Another pollsterโ€”one of the smartest people I know in politics, told me yesterday weโ€™d lose the generic ballot by 13 points. I felt negative going into Tuesday, but even I was shocked by this. In his polling, he saw that a lot of Trump 2024 voters were angry and planning to vote for Democrats. He asked those voters who had abandoned us what would cause them to come back on our team. The top four answers, accounting for nearly all of the responses were: 1) End the war 2) Focus on cost of living/inflation 3) Put America First 4) Change our relationship to Israel Our voters showed up. And the above four reasons are why many of them voted for Democrats. This is according to a pollster who nailed the results. While many spent Monday attacking Rachel Campos Duffy for calling for a diplomatic resolution to the conflict, it turns out her political advice was sound. (Sheโ€™s also a great person.) In the next few months, there's going to be a lot of gaslighting. Expect to hear any number of establishment politicians say the solution to our woes is amnesty. I'm open to the idea that we should change enforcementโ€”by focusing more on businesses that hire illegal labor, for instance. But anyone pushing amnesty is lying to you. The reason we lost is the war. The president himself said so last night. If you'd like to argue it was worth it, that losing the Senate for the next 6 years was worth it, then do so. Argue it was a worthwhile cost to pay. Agree or disagree, that's at least honest. But everyone knows why we lost. And any honest conversation about where we go from here must start there. I remain hopeful about our country. To the people who are pissed off and want to say, โ€œI told you soโ€: youโ€™re right, you did tell us so. Take that energy into electing Republicans who share your worldview. To the people who are just pissed at the results, you should be. Letโ€™s take that anger and get back to the work of saving our country.

Letโ€™s be honest and clearโ€ฆ the cost of living is high because we unnecessarily printed 40% of the US money supply over the past ten years. What absorbs that? The price of goods and servicesโ€ฆ. Both parties are equally complicit in this. With $40T in debt and now no appetite to grow AI and energy supply there is little we can do to stem this tide of debasement.
Replying to @JDVance
1) End the war 2) Focus on cost of living/inflation 3) Put America First 4) Change our relationship to Israel These are all the same thing. The cost of living is high because Israel convinced Trump to start a war with Iran, instead of putting America first.

Tonight was a total referendum on Trump. He told people to vote like he was on the ballot and they did. Trump covered up the Epstein files protecting rapists and pedophiles, started a foreign war no one wanted and killed a school full of kids, put his rich elite donors before the struggling Americans who put him in office, made life unaffordable with his tariffs, and caused gas and diesel prices to skyrocket while he played the market and sold crypto. And Republicans stood behind him silently clapping like trained baby seals. And Trump ran me and Thomas Massie out of the Congress and our Republican colleagues stayed silent. But really itโ€™s what Trump did to the American people. And tonight they sent him a clear message. But itโ€™s the rest of Republicans that need to learn the lesson and drastically change course. And Iโ€™m not sure if theyโ€™re capable of that.
