If someone is harassing you and is using remote or virtual means, there is an ‘order of protection’ available called the Civil Harassment Restraining Order (CHRO).
It’s a bit different from a domestic violence order of protection bc a CHRO is for non-intimate harassers such as roommates, coworkers, or online stalkers. It legally orders them to stop contacting you and stay away basically.
