There are also a number of Kotlin Multiplatform related posts based on these samples at johnoreilly.dev/.
Probably not as efficient as a formal skill but I've also been pointing AI agents at blog articles like this to make particular changes needed (and sometimes also my own articles 😀)
📢 Kotlin 2.5.0-Beta2 is out! Here are some of the highlights:
✅ Language: Stable name-based destructuring in only-syntax mode, unused return value checker, and improved compile-time constants
✅ Standard library: New experimental functions for simplifying common patterns with if expressions and experimental support for Unicode code points
✅ Kotlin/JVM: Support for Java 28
✅ Kotlin/Native: Incremental compilation enabled by default on Apple targets and Swift export in Beta with a new DSL
✅ Kotlin Multiplatform: New publication format for multiplatform libraries
✅ Kotlin/JS: Support for the es2020 target
✅ Kotlin compiler: More consistent inline function behavior during klib compilation
Try it out: kotl.in/2-5-0-beta2

Moving from SKIE to Swift export in a Kotlin Multiplatform project johnoreilly.dev/posts/people…
Swift export is still in alpha and continues to evolve so some aspects of this might change....but cool to see progress and looks like Kotlin 2.5.0 will be big release for the technology!
Son is in final year of his Computer Science degree at @uniofgalway (while working part time at HPE building AI systems). He just created following portfolio site...I might be a bit biased 😀 but think it looks very good (he is very open to any feedback)

Started migrating my #KMP/#CMP samples to Swift Export, which means saying goodbye to SKIE, KMP-NativeCoroutines, and KMP-ObservableViewModel.
A massive thank you to @TouchlabHQ and @RickClephas for the incredible work maintaining what were essential libraries over the years! 🙏

Wrote up how we're trying to reduce PR review friction with concept of "small-change" as PRs/eng/week has increased 10x on some teams. (Aside: incidents down 42% HoH, critical incidents down 78%! Velocity vs quality never been a falser dichotomy.)

Updated more of the KMP/CMP samples at github.com/joreilly to use @maestro__dev UI tests....on both Android and iOS (10 below updated so far).
And this is Maestro UI test for example for Confetti (github.com/joreilly/Confetti)

📢 The Kotlin compiler will soon require JDK 17 or newer to run.
2.5.0: Running the compiler on older JDKs produces an error, with a flag to opt out.
2.5.20-Beta1 and later: JDK 17 or newer is required, with no opt-out.
If this affects your setup or CI, share your use case on YouTrack 👇

Just used Google AI Studio to create Android app and publish it to Play Store. I prompted it to make use of following KMP samples and create some sort of "mash up" of the functionality....pretty nice!
