Something unusual is happening around Internet Computer on X. ∞ I've followed ICP since the day it launched. And I can't remember another moment when so many large crypto news and market accounts were talking about it within such a short period. So I decided to investigate. The findings — October 25 to November 7, 2026: • 14 external X accounts with 50K+ followers • 13 distinct publishing sources • ~7.46 million combined followers • 7 accounts over 250K • 2 accounts over 1 million • ~25–28 original or quote posts These are combined follower counts, not unique audience reach. Who is talking about ICP? @Cointelegraph — 2.93M @BSCNews — 1.37M (also @BSCNWire) @WallStreetXHQ — 517K @CoinTalk_Daily — 460K @WhaleViewChart — 299K They covered AI integrations, on-chain finance, network performance, cloud infrastructure, and real-world applications. But here's where things became particularly interesting. We examined these same 14 accounts across comparable 14-day periods in 2024, 2025, and earlier in 2026. In those windows, searches generally identified only 1–3 participating accounts. This time: 14. Historical searches are incomplete, so this isn't proof of an all-time record. But it's the broadest participation found across the accounts and periods examined. And it wasn't driven by a single media organization. So what exactly are we witnessing? The interesting part isn't simply how many accounts are talking about ICP. It's who's talking about it — and how many different accounts are covering it within the same short period. This doesn't establish a permanent shift in media attention. It could still be several newsworthy developments occurring close together. But after following Internet Computer since launch day, and following the conversation around it on X since December 2021, I believe this moment deserves to be documented.
