Always remember. Tim drake was sidelined by Damian because poor Tim was only given. 3 years post Damian’s introduction A statement of him being equal to Grayson A solo run the same month where he solves the death of Bruce Wayne (only the biggest plot point of the year)

I have spent years of my life explaining that Damian losing to Tim at 10 years old doesn’t mean he would lose at 14 and been told “There’s no proof he would’ve gotten stronger or faster” Besides of course common sense. That’s why this panel from Nightwing 143 is so funny

Batmans really gonna die in the DCU and we’re getting peak. I say after 3 movies till we get the B&R2009 story

Clayface is proof son of Batman can work in the DCU (hear me out please) .A deeply grounded character driven psychologically story .Not afraid to embrace the fantasy elements .The fantasy elements do not affect or dull how amazing the character journey is to follow. I loveIt

I may be a genius. As of right now this is by far my favorite DCU project but it’s catered to exactly what I like in films. Very psych forward and psych heavy. Cant put a number rating until second watch cause I have a troubling history on first watch scores. But it’s VERYGOOD

I wouldn’t be surprised at all if we look back on this in 10 years as the best DCU project

“My robin” controversy Possible Tim erasure? I made a video on this, in the very beginning of the year from a character perspective. I think it’s a fundamentally different circumstance which is why Grayson and even Tim would LOGICALLY view them differently

Also like I say at the end of the video. I think you do a MASSIVE disservice to Tim when you equate the importance of his relationship with Grayson to him being “his Robin” Tim and Grayson have a unique relationship that even Damian and Grayson do not.

I’ve read this issue front to back 10 times. I bought an extra 4 issues, I can’t believe I’ve not dreaming! It’s everything I’ve ever wanted.

Manifesting that I wake up tomorrow to learn that Gleason is out of his exclusive marvel deal and starting to write Grandson of the Demon focusing on Talia and Damian traveling the world rehabbing their relationship. And that Dan Watters is stealing Damian to help in Bludhaven

“You’re a brat” Watters flips Damian’s generalize outdated critique on its head by making it a positive joke between brothers. Then he spends a majority of the issue educating his reader base on Damian’s growth a character since… Tell me we are all appreciative of this!

Replying to @DanPGWatters
@DanPGWatters would you be against Damian being Dick’s permanent sidekick in Bludhaven? (Maybe for a new internship perhaps). Obviously assuming everyone at the company would be on board?

these last pages means so much to me as fan of Dick and Damian's dynamic duo I'm just blown away by how much @DanPGWatters got their dynamic down and yet still show where they currently are each in their (comic) life. This nightwing issue gets a 5/5 for me !

I would be so excited in seeing this universe get expanded. I need to see how a Batman functions in a crime free city and how Damian deals with being a dad after his childhood.
Damian/Nika 🫀@damian_for_diorOct 19
At NYCC, I actually spoke with Joshua Williamson. I asked him about Knight Fight, if Damian is with Nika and if she's alfred's mom, and his reaction was interesting. He said he couldn't tell anything yet, because they were basically considering to continue knight fight! #daminika
