We’ve raised $1.3M from YC & Afore Capital so you never have to type or speak again. Typing is slow. Talking into your computer is awkward. Subvocal fixes both Our glasses give you the speed of speech without you making a sound or touching a keyboard. It tracks your internal speech muscles with non-contact sensing and decodes silent, almost invisible mouthing into text at more than 200 words/min. Pre-orders are now live at: subvocal.co/preorder?utm_sou…

Zuck on why reps beat genius when learned Mandarin, martial arts, and helicopters. "There's no way to outthink a bunch of these things." The volume of practice beats the myth of talent. $META

Elina Svitolina’s reaction after Ukraine reached the Billie Jean King Cup Final for the first time in history. The happiest racquet smash you’ll ever see. 😂 Anhelina Kalinina beat Tyra Grant to give Ukraine the 1-0 lead. Elina Svitolina sealed the victory by avenging her loss to Jasmine Paolini. Last year in the semifinals, Elina led Paolini 6-3, 4-2 before Paolini was able to turn it around… Italy went on to win the title. This was a symbolic and historic win for the Ukrainian team, who never gives up. Rise. Fight. Win. 🥹 🇺🇦💙

Two years at DoorDash. I do not say this lightly. We are extremely close to the burrito arriving before you decide you want it. We are not asking for a ban. We are asking for a pause.

the apple reference photo is likely one of the most consequential things that apple is shipping watermarking AI gen content is a futile endeavor -- the smarter thing to do is to watermark real things instead

the sf tennis reservation system will become one of the most hardened softwares on the planet of earth
SITUATION DETECTED: In Australia's first known autonomous AI cyberattack, an OpenClaw agent used a vulnerability in a gym’s API to leapfrog scheduling restrictions for a gym class, and then forcefully cancelled another person's reservation to move its user up the list, per ABC.

What we have built? Everything Who has worked for us? Everyone How many citations do we have? Uncountable
Replying to @JeffDean
We created a pitch deck to tell a handful of VC firms about us and what we were up to (a fun experience!). Here’s a few slides about our background and some of the things we’ve worked on from the pitch deck (it was fun putting together the list of people in our teams who have gone on to found a whole range of exciting companies). We are delighted to have selected @radicalvcfund and @khoslaventures to lead our initial funding round, along with participation from @lightspeedvp, @kleinerperkins, Doerr Capital (@johndoerr), and Alphabet (@Google). We’ll be working with them to close our seed round over the next few weeks.

Chinese interview: The concept of atonement didn’t really exist in Ancient Greece and it didn’t exist in Homer’s Odyssey. It exists in your Odyssey. Did you Christianize the Odyssey? American interview: spin the snack wheel and then read these thirst tweets they called you zaddy
Hats off to doctoral student and podcaster Zhong Shu in Beijing, China, who did this fascinating and smart interview with Christopher Nolan about THE ODYSSEY yesterday, originally posted to Bilibili. A great listen/watch.
