The year is 1956. Your mother is expecting you, and her doctor smokes through the appointment. More doctors smoke Camels than any other brand, the adverts say, and he tells her a few a day will settle her nerves and keep the baby small for an easy birth. The year is 1960. Your first proper shoes come from a shop with an X-ray machine in the corner. You slide your feet into the slot and watch your own toe bones wriggle, green and glowing, while the assistant checks the fit. You go back every time your feet grow. The year is 1961. Your mother is expecting your sister and the sickness is bad. The chemist has a new tablet, advertised as completely safe in pregnancy. Your sister arrives the next year alongside 10,000 other babies whose mothers took it, and some of them arrive without arms. The year is 1964. Three sore throats, so the tonsils come out, as they do for over a million children a year on both sides of the Atlantic. Twenty beds, and the promise of ice cream. Nobody asks what the tonsils were for. They were the immune system, and the operation never did much for the throats. The year is 1972. You are sixteen and every car on earth runs on leaded petrol. The lead comes out of the exhaust and settles on the playground, the vegetable patch and the blood of every child walking to school. The men who put it in the petrol knew what it did to a brain in the 1920s. The ban arrives in your forties. The year is 1981. Your mother's hands have gone stiff. The doctor has a new arthritis tablet with the biggest launch the drug industry has ever mounted. Two years later it is pulled on both sides of the Atlantic, with dozens of pensioners dead whose kidneys could not clear it. She gets off lightly: the sun burns her on it, and she spends a summer behind the curtains. The year is 1991. Your father is diabetic, and the dietitian hands him a sheet. More than half his calories are to come from carbohydrate: bread, potatoes, pasta, cereal. His sugar goes up on it, so his insulin goes up with it, and his waist follows. He does as he is told for twenty years. The year is 1998. Your back has gone. The doctor has a new opioid, and the rep carries a letter from a medical journal saying addiction on it is under 1%. The letter is five sentences long. The company pleads guilty twice, and by the second time more than half a million Americans are dead. The year is 2002. Your knees hurt, and the doctor has a new pill that is kinder on the stomach. You take it for two years, the same two years the maker is sitting on its own heart data. It is withdrawn with as many as 140,000 heart attacks laid at its door. Your heart was fine. The man next door's was not. The year is 2008. Your wife has a prolapse after three children, and the surgeon fits a strip of plastic mesh. Once the tissue grows through it, it cannot come out. Australia apologises to its women in 2018, America bans it in 2019, Britain apologises in 2020. Your wife gets hers by press release. The year is 2026. You are seventy, and the new doctor has a screen and a number for everything. The meat on your plate is a hazard. The oil in the bottle is good for your heart. The injection is for life. He is the age the first doctor was when he lit a Camel in front of your mother, and every bit as sure. Not one of them was a rogue. Every one was the standard of care, taught to the next doctor, printed on the leaflet, and handed to a family with no way to check it. You have spent seventy years as the experiment. The results come out after you are gone, under somebody else's name, and the chair you are sitting in is where they recruit for the next one.

I found how it all connects, Carney's meeting with the Crown Prince, Barbados, Antigua and Barbuda. When will the RCMP get involved?

The sea hag Diana Carney has $1.2 billion of fun money with no oversight. She can pay for a bunch of young votes with it. 🙄 nitter.gq/RMC19861987/status/211…
🐟 CPC - Carney appointed his wife as 🇨🇦 Ocean Envoy. We asked her to come to committee to explain what her plan, goals & deliverables are for the $1.2 billion she's overseeing. Liberals blocked our motion. Why? ⚔️ Liberals - She's an expert! Asking her to appear & explain herself is an attack! 🔫 CPC - The government isn't a family-run business like the Sopranos though it's looking like one. Why won't you let her appear? ⚔️ This is an attack! She's a volunteer and we should kiss her feet! We're so lucky to have her!

In 2006, the evening news told America something the CDC never wanted you to hear: Over 20 years, seniors' flu shot rates more than quadrupled. Their flu deaths didn't fall. They kept climbing. And when reporters asked to interview the government scientist behind the study, the NIH said no. 🧵

I've heard that "charred meat" causes cancer for a long time. I've always felt it was yet another attempt by vegan or plant-based fanatics, to dissuade people from eating meat. Along the same lines as 'cows harm the planet', 'beef causes cancer', etc. The paper states: "Population studies have not established a definitive link between HCA and PAH exposure from cooked meats and cancer in humans"
AFRAID OF THE CHAR ON YOUR STEAK? Our ancestors have been cooking over an open fire for about a million years. Burned bone and ash turn up deep inside Wonderwerk Cave in South Africa from that far back. By about 780,000 years ago, people in what is now Israel were controlling fire and cooking fish. That is a long, long time eating food cooked over flames, and a little char Always comes with that. Here is what the National Cancer Institute says on its own fact sheet: "Population studies have not established a definitive link between HCA and PAH exposure from cooked meats and cancer in humans." Those are the chemicals from char they keep warning you about. I'm not telling you to burn it black (please don't!). Cook it the way you like it and quit worrying about a little crust. The Study below...

Odessa Orlewicz on election night: "Dallas helped change the wind. And now Lorne and the Conservatives are riding on that wind." She says they "would never have had the testicular fortitude to say we're going to repeal DRIPA" without Dallas, "a martyr for this truth."

Let’s be clear: If I’m not going to sleep with you, I don’t need to know anything about your sexuality. And children—who are not going to sleep with anyone—certainly don’t. Your sexuality is not sacred. It’s not a personality, it’s not a protected class of performance art, and it’s not the center of anyone’s moral universe but your own. Unless we are in a relationship, I am not obligated to acknowledge, affirm, or be exposed to your private desires—especially not in public, and especially not in front of children. This used to be understood. Now it’s called hate. No, We Don’t Owe You an Audience Sexuality belongs in the private realm. It is intimate by definition. If you feel compelled to wear your kink on your sleeve—or on a float, or in a first-grade classroom—you are not inviting understanding, you are demanding submission. You are violating others’ right not to participate. Consent doesn’t vanish because your fetish is “progressive.” If anything, the burden is higher. No one consents to being flashed on the subway. No one consents to a stranger’s arousal. No one consents to a stranger telling their child about masturbation, kink, gender identity, or pornographic categories under the guise of “inclusive sex ed.” Yet all of this is happening now—in public parks, in classrooms, in televised programming. It is not tolerance. It is invasion. Children Are Not Here to Validate You Children are not queer. Children are not sexual. Children do not need to “see themselves represented” in a spectrum of adult desire. This idea—that identity is only valid if sexualized and mirrored—is narcissism, not pedagogy. There is no legitimate reason to initiate a child into the language of sexual preference, gender identity, or alternative lifestyles. The only people who benefit from that dynamic are those looking to normalize boundary violations. Let me state it plainly: Children who are not going to have sex do not need to be exposed to sexuality. Period. Any adult who insists otherwise is not confused. They are grooming. Public Fetishism Is Not Liberation There is a vast difference between being gay and demanding the right to simulate sex acts in front of children. Between being transgender and insisting on teaching kindergartners about breast removal. Between being proud of who you are and insisting the whole world observe your kink play in the street. This is not diversity. This is decay. Men in dog masks being walked on leashes by their lovers are not brave—they are forcing strangers into their psychodrama. This is exhibitionism, and when children are present, it becomes criminal exhibitionism. We used to know this. Peeping, flashing, voyeurism—these were considered red flags. Dangerous behaviors. Early signs of escalation. Now they’re filmed, hashtagged, and funded by public grants. Stop Calling It Love—It’s Entitlement This is not about who you love. It’s about how you demand to be seen. If you need the entire public to witness, applaud, and adapt to your sexuality, you’re not a pioneer—you’re an emotional colonizer. Love does not demand a captive audience. It does not parade past toddlers. It does not demand that schools teach four-year-olds about “preferred pronouns.” Love protects children. Love guards modesty. Love waits. And if you can’t wait—if you need to be seen, affirmed, and obeyed—you’re not talking about love. You’re talking about power. Consent Applies to Culture, Too We teach children that consent is sacred—so why are we failing to apply that lesson to public life? No child consents to drag queen story hour. No parent consents to leather harnesses on city floats. No woman consents to being exposed to male sexuality in the ladies’ room, or in the school library, or anywhere she cannot opt out. Consent is not just for sex. It’s for everything. Attention. Language. Presence. Ideology. Imagery. And we are done pretending we don’t notice when it’s violated. The boundary is back. And we are drawing it in bold.

It is time to reopen Riverview. We used to take care of people with mental illness at the Riverview Hospital in Coquitlam. It was closed in 2012, and now we have thousands of people with mental illness living rough on the streets of Vancouver. The de-institutionalization policies are clearly not working. Reopening Riverview is long overdue. Why hasn't it happened yet? It is because of an indigenous land claim? I intend to find out.

Today is truly a devastating day to be a liberal or NDP socialist in Alberta. Half a million Albertans — 1 out of every 4 of your friends and family and neighbours and coworkers — are ready right now to vote to separate. “No to the 9” campaign lost spectacularly on 8 of 9 questions with the 9th still up in the air. 60-70% of Albertans are officially done with this immigration scheme and non-citizens parasitizing our taxpayer-funded public services and healthcare. These are great things to build off of and to use to continue educating everyday Albertans about their place in confederation and why independence is so necessary for the next generations. The coming months will be telling. I predict a struggle in the UCP with perhaps changes in leadership and official party direction. No pipelines will be built. The feds will punish us economically and socially for embarrassing them on the international stage with this referendum. Things are going to get worse before they get better. We carry on.

In Scotland it has been illegal to sell a glass of raw milk since 1983. The farmer may drink it. His children may drink it. The man at the gate may not buy it, and the dairy farmer who sells it to him has committed a crime. England kept a loophole: the farmer may sell it at the farm, and nowhere else. Not in a shop. Not to a café. It must carry a warning, and the inspector comes twice a year. In most of the United States it is a felony to carry it over a state line, and armed federal agents have raided Amish farms in Pennsylvania to seize it. This is milk as it comes from the cow. The food every mammal on earth starts life on, which fed this island for six thousand years before anybody boiled it. Pasteurisation was invented for the swill dairies of the Victorian cities, where cows stood in their own filth under distilleries and the milk killed children, and it was the right answer to that. The clean farm was never the problem. The clean farm got the same law. What raw milk carries that the heated kind does not is the point of it: the enzymes that digest it, the living cultures, the proteins that fold properly only until the temperature goes past them. The people who drink it will tell you that children who could not stomach the carton can drink the churn. The authorities will tell you that is anecdote and that the risk is unacceptable, and then license the sale of raw oysters, raw beef, raw fish and raw eggs without a word. A thousand farms in England sell it legally and their waiting lists are long. North of the border a woman can drive to a farm, look at the cow, and be refused a pint of what it made that morning. Nobody banned milk. They banned the kind with anything left in it.

Yesterday @PardyBruce represented the "Leave" side in a debate. In his opening statement he highlighted the following.... "Notley, Nenshi, Carney, Kenney, Poilievres Harper, Smith..... that's the team. Along with the academics, legacy media, CBC, Globe & Mail, the unions, the Aboriginal chiefs, some CEOs of some big companies. This is the political establishment. They do not want you to vote for option two. That's not because option two is a threat to your interests. It's because it is a threat to theirs." Keep that in mind when you vote on Monday. We have an opportunity to make real change. Vote option "2"
