In this same “the flesh profits nothing “ chapter, Jesus tells people to work for spiritual food that doesn’t spoil, referring to faith. He also mentions listening and learning from the Father.
Jesus’ words, which likely refers here to the gospel, bring life.
I think that the biggest revelation for Kenneth Walker III going to the Chiefs is playing behind an O-line that doesn’t get called for holding.

Yes.
Chosen to be a saint
Chosen for spiritual blessings in Christ.
Chosen to be called a son of God
Saved by God's grace, which I entered into by faith, at which time I was also, as result of faith, forgiven, indwelled by the Spirit, and made a new creation in Christ.
They might be able to fix this one by agreeing that if an action would have been a carry if he had made another dribble, it’s not a legal gather step.

Nobody responds to this idea, either. It must be too crazy.

Nobody considers that this drawing being referred to is specifically occurring on the last day when they are raised to life.
It would explain how Judas and others were allowed to come to Jesus, despite lack of faith.
Dr. William Lane Craig uses the term “eternity past” here. It’s a common phrase. He also discusses God’s decree, here.

WOW:
It’s interesting that Calvin’s standard of judgement in Geneva incorporated an age-dependent level of accountability, while so many Calvinists reject the same concept soteriologically.

There was a group. In the quote they determined that a few were under the age where they could know, and a few over the age. Whatever that means for Geneva in the 16th century. Sounds like preditory older boys, statutory rape.

If this tweet upsets or appalls you, please consider contacting your senator or congressman or MP or whatever and begging them to halt foreign aid to Somalia until they implement a full ban on the mutilation of women and girls and take concrete steps to enforce it. It takes two minutes to Google the contact information and send an email. You can even copy/paste the following:
[Sir or Madam]
I am writing to urge you to use your voice to help the women and girls of Somalia, 99% of whom are cruelly mutilated in early childhood. By halting foreign aid to Somalia until their government bans female genital mutilation, and takes concrete steps to end the practice, we can prevent a lifetime of appalling suffering for millions of women and girls. Doing this would cost our country nothing, and would be a tremendous victory for human rights in a country that desperately needs one.
Thank you.

99% of women and girls in Somalia have been mutilated in the following way: the clitoris is cut off, along with the inner labia. Then the inner flesh of the outer labia is removed before both sides are sewn tightly together, leaving a hole no bigger than a matchstick for urine and menses to trickle through.
All of this is done in childhood, and without any form of anesthesia whatsoever. Sometimes the little girl is given a scrap of leather or a stick to bite down on. The cutters use old razor blades, or sometimes a piece of broken glass.
This is only the beginning of a girl’s pain.
Most wedding nights in Somalia are aided by “the little knife” — that is, the new husband slices his bride open so that he can penetrate her now cut and bleeding scar tissue. Some men, however, simply batter their way through, tearing that tiny hole open by sheer force. When a woman goes into labor, she’s cut open more widely, then sewn back up afterwards so that when sex resumes she will have to be cut open yet again.
This practice leads to countless deaths from infection and a drastic increase in maternal mortality, but Somali men still refuse to marry uncut women, forcing mothers to have their daughters cut or face social stigma. Uncut girls are seen as dirty; the term for clitoris is a playground taunt in Somalia, and girls who are not cut are usually ostracized by their peers.
The Somali government recently debated the legality of this appalling custom, and the parliament largely split along gender lines. Female MPs roundly condemned FGM, while male MPs insisted that having a clitoris made a woman more difficult to penetrate, and quoted the hadith in which Muhammad condoned the practice. These are educated men who nevertheless claim that cutting a girl is necessary in order to control her sexuality, and that an uncut woman will be promiscuous and untrustworthy.
In spite of the Somali government’s continued support for FGM, foreign aid continues to flow into Somalia unobstructed. The West should refuse to give the Somali government so much as a single dollar until they outlaw FGM and take positive steps to combat the problem.
One tactic that has been highly successful involves showing Somali men a video of a girl being mutilated. Because FGM is seen as women’s business, most men have no idea what it entails. Men who watch this video are horrified, and the most common reaction has been “Not my daughter!” This proves that FGM is not hopelessly entrenched in Somali culture. Western pressure and resources could make an enormous difference in the lives of Somali women and girls, and put a stop to this barbaric practice.
This ignores the particulars of total inability. God can compatibilistically decree and bring about every human choice except for faith in His elect, which requires a miracle of regeneration, first.
This account is blast from the past the who dropped by with a fruitful post to insult me real quick.

👆homeboy can't even begin to understand "eternity past" and is over here trying to explain it 😂
God determines all things or they don't exist
Compatibilism is no less deterministic than hard determinism. It argues human choices occur without coercion, therefore free will.
Some forms have God more providentially active than others, but every human want/choice was determined in eternity past according to His nature
