The little hop at the end, there. Says so much. Happiness. Joy. In giving. I pray for this kind of spirit in me.
Kindness. Grace. Generosity. Here is a young man on Halloween, not thinking about what he could receive, but seeing an opportunity to give. He saw a need others might have overlooked and found an unexpected way to meet it. May his simple act of generosity inspire us all to look a little closer, care a little more, and find creative and unexpected ways to give to others. May we see more of this. May we be more of this. op: @manny86ortiz

Absolutely. And I speak for 4 kids under the age of 18 who were not happy.

That one time John McEnroe dressed up on Halloween as John McEnroe. I love John McEnroe.

And if you bought Football II for $32.88, it was money well spent because it probably still works now. Mattel wasn't screwing around with the quality back then.

Solar has overtaken nuclear. A decade ago it supplied 1% of the world's power. In 2025 it met three quarters of global demand growth. Almost nobody saw it coming. I spoke to Jocelyn Timperley at BBC Future about why. bbc.co.uk/future/article/202…

Great example of the rich and educated trying to exploit the poor and ignorant (and the just plain mean). Just a blatant lie.
Talarico will vote to take away your kids and transition them

The fact that this clip is being distributed to show Talarico in some kind of a negative light makes me so sad for our country. Merely the expression of love for some marginalized portion of the population. How heartless and soulless do you have to be?
Democrat Nominee for U.S. Senate in Texas James Talarico: “To the trans kids watching at home, I just want to say, I love you.”

Even if you don’t agree with liberal positions towards trans people, surely you can appreciate how difficult it must be for the kids and families who are dealing with these issues and feelings. Didn’t any of you people watch Mr. Rogers.

Don’t ever doubt the power of your words. The impact they can have. Jason Alexander is talking about just one sentence that Jerry said. He calls it ‘Extraordinary’ ‘very meaningful’ ‘a huge thing.’ It clearly meant a lot to him. Just one sentence. Always be kind.
Seinfeld's reruns have made Jerry Seinfeld and Larry David hundreds of millions of dollars. Jason Alexander, who played George, says he has made less than $200,000 from them. That gap is part of why the show ended. In the video below, Alexander explains why George, Elaine and Kramer stopped wanting more seasons. In 1997, Seinfeld was the biggest comedy on TV. NBC offered Jerry $5 million an episode, about $110 million, for a tenth season. He said no. Every year before the Christmas break, Jerry asked his three co-stars if they wanted to keep going. In season 9, they all said it was done. Alexander, Julia Louis-Dreyfus and Michael Richards were not partners in syndication. The reruns would pay Jerry and Larry for life. Not them. "Seinfeld wasn't going to be the annuity for us that it was going to be for Jerry and Larry," Alexander says. Every new season tied them tighter to one character. "We were going to contribute to our own eventual demise as actors." The case for Jerry: he and Larry created the show and owned it. The cast signed their deals and were paid well, reportedly $600,000 an episode by the end. Before the final taping, the four of them held hands backstage like every week. They called it the circle of power. Jerry said: "For the rest of our lives, when anyone thinks of one of us, they will think of all four of us." Alexander says they walked out looking like they'd been hit by a truck. So should Jerry have shared the reruns with George, Elaine and Kramer?

Imagine the stress relief for enlisted military, trauma surgeons, chefs, firefighters, air traffic controllers, lawyers, to name a few, that often have higher stress and longer hours for less compensation, when they retire? Coaching is a noble profession, but higher profile doesn’t mean higher stress.

Frank was such a gift to the Titans and Nashville. Gone way, way too soon. Seems strange to say about someone you never met, but I legitimately can say that I miss him. Think about him often during Titans football season.

Never ceases to amaze at how little urgency the concessions people at the movie theater have. Don’t you know that everyone has some place to be!?!?

MARY POPPINS was released 62 years ago today. One of the most successful of all Disney films, and the movie which made Julie Andrews an overnight star, the behind-the-scenes story is practically perfect in every way… 1/51
