How good was Agot Makeer last season for the Gamecocks as a freshmen? This young player is not afraid of any moment & if she shined in big moments as a freshmen, imagine what she will look like during her sophomore year 🔥

Dawn Staley raved about Agot Makeer's play during the summer. I asked Makeer about her preseason:
"I think I was slower at the start of preseason and I was talking to myself a lot. I was like 'I can't be like this' and then it was kind of a switch."

I now have to go online to attend my parent-teacher conferences. Glad to hear she is taking practice seriously. 😅
Dawn Staley with high praise for Agot Makeer heading into the season:
"I like the way Gotti's playing. I'm not surprised b/c she's quite a player. The way she's been practicing every single day on both sides of the basketball. Really poised. Really self-assured."
