I need someone to explain the reason behind how Zaheer was able to access the spirit world so easily, Aang and Korra had difficulties maintaining their presence in the spirit world and it was even with the help of their past lives that was how they were able to achieve such power and abilities.
Jinora on the other hand is gifted by the spirit world which made her stand out, but how did a criminal like Zaheer pull it off, being in prison for over 13 years and gain his airbending when Korra open the spirits portal?
He even unlocked flight which no air bender has ever achieved in few weeks of becoming an air bender, is there any valid explanation for it?
