@TheCityClub I've been following the @ABC stories about the flooding in Shiloh, AL. I heard @SecretaryPete, @PeteButtigieg make a promise to fix it the problem there but the people are still getting flooded & they are losing their homes. Will he commit to fulfilling his promise?

Thank you Pastor Richard Gibson for praying and hosting @BullardCenter, @SierraClub and residents from Elba, Alabama flood-damaged Shiloh community on Sunday. We believe #JusticeforShiloh will run thru Elizabeth Baptist Church in Cleveland, OH to @USDOT @SecretaryPete.

New Yorkers, Did you know we are all paying to build new gas pipelines across our state?
Please join me in calling on @GovKathyHochul, @NYSenate @AndreaSCousins & @NYSA_Majority @CarlHeastie to stop pipelines & save you money by passing the full #NYHEAT Act in the budget!

Today, @NYCCouncil made history by becoming the largest U.S. city to require our vehicle fleet to be made up of zero emissions vehicles.
I had the pleasure of meeting with @BenJealous, Executive Director of @SierraClub, to discuss how NYC is a model for all big cities.

🚨ALERT 🚨: @SecDebHaaland @Interior has just announced they are canceling all remaining oil & gas leases in the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge. This monumental decision is a win for America’s Arctic, Indigenous Peoples, and for the health of our planet.

Free school lunches for our children should be the standard in every state across the country. You can’t tell me there’s any actual argument that justifies letting children go hungry while they learn.

Turning the corner and seeing lots of people in the park tonight made me clap my hands! Community is made outside! Parks & bike lanes are important.
On primary day, June 27th, vote for @Celeste4Utica for Mayor. This fall support candidates who are FOR things.

Welcome to The @CityofUtica where we actually hate bicyclists so much we have banned bike lanes entirely...this city is an absolute joke right now, the political infighting amongst parties is actually now hurting our cities image and ultimately making our streets less safe! – at New Hartford, NY

CT climate activists rally at @travelers AGM in support of @OurArcticRefuge.
Gwich'in leaders traveled over 4.3k miles from Alaska to @Travelers shareholder meeting in Hartford CT to call on the insurer to drop drilling projects in the Arctic.

The OD just published an article on me, but I was never reached out to for comment & have concerns.
It misconstrues the challenges I submitted to BoE with what the actual case is about.
I want to be clear: This is not about invalid signatures. It's about fraudulent activity.

The perfect use case for an EV like the Bolt. Lots of start and stop driving within the confines of the city, ample time for recharge during the low-demand overnight hours. @Celeste4Utica deserves credit for getting this up and running.

1/ 🌲🌳🌲The #InternationalDayofForests is coming up, so let’s talk old-growth and mature trees and how they can help take on climate change. Until recently, it was thought trees' ability to absorb carbon declined with age. We now know that's not the case. It's the opposite!

Seems ~19 people were displaced tonight. I’m told in cases like this the Red Cross is called.
Turns out they don’t assist everyone, just *tenants* of the burning building.
In tonight’s case they could only *confirm* 2 out of 19 people staying there were in fact tenants. – at Utica, NY

No version of the ConocoPhillips Willow project is acceptable. If this story is true, that the millions of actions to #StopWillow are going to be ignored, it will be a big step backward by @POTUS and @SecDebHaaland on climate promises. bgov.com/next/news/RRBL7HT0A…

Wildlife, communities, and Indigenous ways of life are at stake. @POTUS, stop the Willow project and say no to ConocoPhillips. bbc.com/news/science-environ…

This MUST not be the case @POTUS. The Willow project is a climate disaster waiting to happen that would devastate wildlife, lands, AK communities, and our climate. We need to speed our transition to clean energy, not double-down on oil and gas. #StopWillow

🌲🌳🌲 The #InternationalDayOfForests is this month! To celebrate, we want to uplift one of the great forests in the country—AK's Tongass National Forest! It has the most acreage of old-growth and mature trees of any US forest. Its size and age make it a marvel of biodiversity!
