Isn't that the beauty of it though? Life is all about choices, and for every choice there is a consequence. Good or bad. I know someone that regretted never following their passion for medicine, went back to school & they became a doctor in their late 50's. It could still be you!

San Francisco's latest walking tour takes people past cats in windows, and apparently, the demand is enormous. Nearly 100 people gathered Saturday for a neighborhood “catwalk,” a free afternoon stroll past the homes of local cats, all volunteered by their owners for a moment in the spotlight. The cats, by all accounts booked and busy, had become local celebrities without lifting a paw. Organizer Lora Lafon told SFGATE the idea began with a Reddit thread inspired by a similar event in Minneapolis. More than 50 households across San Francisco signed up, and interest quickly outgrew what a single afternoon could accommodate. The inaugural walk was capped at 100 people, leaving another 406 on the waitlist and 388 more expressing interest. “We're such a big dog city (love dogs too) that it's been really sweet to see how proud the cat owners are when people stop to admire their babies in the window,” Lafon said. Fortunately for the city's aspiring cat admirers, more walks are in the works, both in San Francisco and potentially across the Bay Area.

Did you know that Japan had its own version of the Dutch tulip bubble...but with rabbits? When Japan reopened trade with the West at the end of the Edo period, they started purchasing foreign goods in droves and were introduced to domesticated European rabbits. (1/5)

The craze went beyond rabbit sales and into art, textiles, and more. Eventually the craze went so insane that it attracted high crime so the Japanese government had to get involved and both taxed and required rabbit sales to be reported. This burst the bubble. (4/5)

Today, rabbits still remain a popular pet choice in Japan, partially because of their centuries-long folklore about them, partially because they are cute and quiet apartment-suitable pets, and perhaps partially because of this rabbit craze! (5/5)
