Covid damages the part of your brain (frontal lobe) which is responsible for empathy, emotional regulation & overcoming self-centeredness.
This will facilitate immorality.
Each & every infection you have causes damage.
Many are on infection 4 (or more).

They're not really talking about looking for a lost pet. They're talking about making every house a surveillance outpost and neighbours informants spying on eachother.
They're talking about the same technology ICE and DHS are using to triangulate neighborhoods to find people.

“AI isn’t going away.” “We need guns no matter how many shootings there are.” “Covid is here to stay.” None of you want better, do you? Do you realize none of this has to happen? All of this is preventable. We can all demand better and do better. None of this is inevitable.

COVID isn’t acting like the viruses most of us grew up with, and treating it like “just a cold” is putting people at real risk. David Brasure breaks down why SARS-CoV-2 is fundamentally different, how it causes long-term damage, and what we can do to protect ourselves.

Holy hell. For the love of everything American I’m going to take a deep breath and respond to this absolute dribble.
I pay taxes. YOU pay taxes. WE pay taxes.
The idea that American tax dollars should go towards the improvement of American lives is NOT socialism.
I have not ONCE advocated for the government to assume control of the means of production and equally spread those resources amongst the populace.
THAT is socialism.
FFS I am literally advocating for tax levels to be where they were before Reagan came in with his trickle down bull SHIT and gutted the working class.
The billionaires are NOTHING without us. They leverage our resources, our energy, our labor and our LIVES.
Not ONCE have I asked for or advocated for an equal distribution of wealth.
On God, we are just SICK of giving every single thing we have to offer to the oligarchs and going bankrupt with a single cancer diagnosis.
We pay everything and get NOTHING.
The dam is breaking. And comments like THIS only serve as a reminder that propaganda WORKS.

As a neurologist, I can’t ignore what I’ve been noticing, both professionally and socially.
People are not the same as they were before the pandemic.
The way they communicate, interact, and connect feels… different.
I want to know if you’re feeling this too?

🧵 Thread: Why don’t people take COVID seriously in Year 6 of the pandemic?
A virus that disables the immune system, damages the brain, heart, and vasculature.
And spreads like smoke.
Yet the world shrugs.
Why?
Because mass denial is doing what it always does.

I am just a microscopist with social anxiety. But seeing #Covid impact on the brain through the lenses of the microscope has affected me. It’s hard not to feel for the millions sick everywhere.
Below is a 2021 video about our research. Can we please keep talking about #LongCovid
