Hot off the press! Access our NEW scoping review about Culturally Responsive Eval for FREE until Aug 1! We found that CRE evaluators prioritize community involvement & attend to power differentials, but gaps in how culture/eval are interpreted cause inconsistent CRE practices.

I have no time for folks who say we need to give up on 1.5C. Everyone needs to think like an athlete: Set a long-term stretch goal, have a plan, work hard on it every day. It's super tough but you dig deep. You never give up. Focus on finish line: A sustainable 🌎 for all. #IPCC

If this was the way to school (within a reasonable distance) as compared to the yellow school bus would parents / guardians / families invest in it. The bike bus! @EverActiveAB
What if every city had “Bike Buses” for kids going to school & daycare? What if safe, protected bike infrastructure made them easy? From Nijmegen NL, a #BikeBus developed in partnership with an after-school childcare. HT to great folks at @Cycling_Embassy

Huge thanks to @pathsforppl for all their advocacy re: the Bike Plan. #yegbike #yegwalk #yegcc – at Edmonton, Alberta

Eight years ago, we had to fight to get a very contentious $10 million of bike infrastructure built. Today, #yegcc just voted for ten times that. This is a great victory for health, climate, affordability, and economic sustainability.
Replying to @conradnobert
The Bike Plan just got funded for $100 million over the next four years. This is the biggest day for bike infrastructure in Edmonton's history.

Policy influencers in both government and non-government organizations support active travel interventions for chronic disease prevention. More intrusive interventions will require more effort, but easy wins include improving active travel to schools. sciencedirect.com/science/ar…
