the new jon photoshoot makes me think of julian kaye for some reason. i can so see him having some model scout as a client and she's like "hey you could easily sell fashion and magazines with that face and body. you need to get in front of a camera" at first he's skeptical like "no i couldn't. what would people say if they find out how i got the job?" but his client assures him nothing will get out. so he calls her up the next day saying he'll do it. she gets him into the agency to take headshots and put together a portfolio with an agent who gets him booked for a photoshoot pretty quickly. julian thinks it's this small thing but it's actually for a full campaign for a new clothing collection. he does the shoot and the creative director and everyone on set loved him. it becomes this full circle moment for him bc it's shot out in the desert like where he grew up and that photoshoot is just the beginning of his new career.
