Now two Big Ten coaches have implied an ESPN/SEC relationship with the CFP rankings this week.
I'm honestly surprised it took this long after the Big Ten left ESPN years ago for them to say something.

Paul Finebaum is not buying FSU as a coaching destination right now.
“This is where I would tell you I don’t think that’s a good job at all. That program has been devalued. Its national image has taken a major hit.
Until somebody convinces me that they actually know what they’re doing at Florida State, I would be hesitant to take that job, and right now I don’t think they know what they’re doing.”

Coach Norvell, I just want to take a moment to thank you for everything you’ve done for me and my family during my time at Florida State. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to play at Florida State University, believing in me, and seeing something in me even when I may not have seen it in myself. You’ve played a major role in changing my life, not just on the field but off the field as well, and for that, I’ll forever be grateful.
I want you to know that your impact on me goes far beyond football. The lessons, conversations, guidance, and genuine love you’ve shown me and my family are things I’ll carry with me for the rest of my life. I’ll never forget the day you yelled at me for thrity minutes straight at practice for running out of bounds. 😂😂 It's one of those moments I'll always look back on and laugh about, but it also shows how much you cared about pushing me to be the best version of myself.
I wish you nothing but success and happiness in whatever comes next. I know greater days are ahead, and I have no doubt that God has something special in store for you.

I still contend that Florida State getting shafted in 2023 is one of the travesties of college football. They were literally an undefeated power 4 champion and had the best defense in the country. They just beat a top 15 team by 10 points in a neutral site with a new QB. But FSU didn't make as much money for ESPN as Alabama or Texas (especially with a potential Alabama Texas rematch) so they were left out.
Jokes on the committee though. They didn't get that Texas Alabama rematch they wanted. Both teams lost.
Tell me - what blue chip athlete would want to play for a team who can go undefeated and still get left out of a 4 team playoff? It's no wonder FSU struggled after that.
It was unforgivable and did perhaps irreparable damage to the sport. I know Texas beat Alabama by 10 at their place, but it would have been more forgiveable to put Alabama in over Texas than to put them both in over FSU. FSU should have been a lock. – at Maple Bluff, WI

I’m not a big conspiracy theory guy when it comes to officiating, but watching the calls Miami gets at the end of these games is absolutely insane.
