🚨 HERE IS THE REAL CULPRIT 🚨
Since 2020, Todd Wash-coached defenses have accounted for roughly 10% of ALL NFL games allowing 200+ rushing yards! 😳
23 games across 3 teams!
Nearly 3X as often as the average NFL defense.
Fire sale!
Trade: Colts have agreed to send eight-time Pro-Bowl guard Quenton Nelson to the Seattle Seahawks, per me and @rapsheet. Nelson is on an expiring contract and the Colts are opting to get back draft capital now before they could lose him in free agency.
But an all-time Colt now moves on to the Seahawks.

Hear me out… Panthers bring in Sean McDermott as a defensive consultant now.
Evero keeps calling plays, McDermott fixes the pass rush and evaluates the roster.
Then he takes over in 2027.
Chris Simms’ bitch ass called this a “wide open” throw
As if he made a single throw like this in his entire career
Holy fuck Chris Simms is a bitch
The Panthers lost by 30, one week after calling out @CSimmsQB on social media. In response, Chris chose violence.

Since 2024, the start of the Dave Canales era, there have been 90 instances of a defense giving up 200 or more rushing yards to an opponent.
The #Panthers have allowed that total (or more) 12 times (four since 2025, tied for most since then; two are the most this season). The next closest number on the list is 6 by the Giants and Commanders.
Carolina has allowed more of those performances to the Bucs (three since 2024) than the half the league has generally in that time span (16 teams have two or less of those instances).
This is absurd
Replying to @DuncOnDemand
@DuncOnDemand The Carolina Panthers are now 0–6 in the Dave Canales era when entering a game with a winning record.

Evero’s defense continues to make history in the worst way possible. Wtf are we doing seriously?

Bryce Young's EPA/pass of -0.71 was the worst for a QB in week 7 (heading into SNF/MNF).
His downfield throw (10+) rate plummeted: from 35% in Wks 1-6 to 19% vs. TB.
He also took more sacks (5)- on a pressure rate similar to the one he typically sees & a relatively low blitz rate (26%).
He also saw zone coverage on 94% of snaps.
I think the 3 are likely related.
I think the fact that the Bucs were getting home with 4, led to a situation where he didn't have as much time to wait for the downfield windows to open late (he usually holds the ball a half second longer vs. zone.)
He had to get the ball out fast (2.42s) and the chunk plays suffered, as a result.
Data: @SumerSports
Bryce Young has been really good this season attacking 2 high on throws of 10+ yds.
But- as of halftime- he has not done that vs. TB.

This is a tweet you print out and hand to Evero with his pink slip
The Bucs just became the first team in 68 years (and only the third team ever) to win a road game by 30+ points while recording 65 or fewer passing yards.

Don’t lose perspective.
The Panthers bounced back strongly after losing big last year.
Including their win in Green Bay…

Horrendous call… It’s unbelievable this is football in 2026 and we don’t have a camera angle to get this call correct…

"I'm not going to sit here and blame that loss on Bryce Young. The bottom line is that was a team loss."
