This tweet is a notification that my Twitter account is now inactive. I will still check DMs when necessary, but that's it. You can find me on Mastodon @[email protected] Fellow film/tv folk, you're welcome to join the Mastodon server I run at bbq.snoot.com/

I can confirm! Dave Green and team have made a damn good movie. A movie good enough to make me come back to Twitter to champion it.

Hello people who refuse to leave this cursed website, Jess and I are hosting a screening of RINGU at @vidiots this Friday evening! RINGU is legitimately the scariest movie I've ever seen, and I can't wait to watch it again (hopefully with some of you). vidiotsfoundation.org/movies…

I continue to not be here, but I am now on Bluesky bsky.app/profile/keithcalder…

I am violating my self-imposed Twitter ban to share this one important message: Blindspotting season two starts airing this Friday on Starz! And episodes 3 and 4 were directed by Jess Wu Calder!

Just a reminder that I run a cozy Mastodon community for film and TV folk. If that describes you, this might be the right server for you to join. bbq.snoot.com/

Probably worth mentioning this again…

I know I'm a broken record on this, but Mastodon is so delightful. The model of having a local community that federates with the larger social network works much better and is more intuitive than I expected. Consider checking it out, if you haven't already!

I’m delighted by how Mastodon has grown over the last couple weeks. It has mostly supplanted Twitter for me, and I suspect if it keeps growing like this I won’t be coming back to Twitter very much. Film and TV folks who are considering joining Mastodon, feel free to join us here!

I hear people are looking for a Mastodon server for film/tv folk. Luckily I set one up the last time people were leaving Twitter. Come join the BBQ! bbq.snoot.com/invite/caMJP2s…
