Circus Circus, which opened on October 18, 1968, was built by Jay Sarno and Stanley Mallin. Explaining the casino's double name, Sarno said:
"At first I planned a Roman circus motif, but changed my mind and decided to build a circus like we are all familiar with – instead of a Roman circus, it's a circus circus."

I was watching TV. My now boyfriend felt it. Some other people did too, in Reno. The video of the truck falling off the Bay Bridge, shot from the car behind....still scars me. I can't tell you how much the Bay Bridge scared me, being on it...so thankful it got replaced!

Fun scene down at the 1st ann Philly parallel parking competition. It’s no joke for the drivers tho, super tight spot, only 18 inches of space. Lots of oohs and aahs from crowd.
