Good: Vgen & Comss gg crack down on jru, Artistree is against brokers, Pipipen & Drawmarket ban them, & Kofi has no algorithm for them to exploit.
Bad: Carrd doesn't ban brokers, & some clients may find artists w/ official sites more appealing/professional

Most VTuber doesn't know about how JRU People treat Minor Artist who make money for them, they just know that JRU Broker Studios on @_VGen_ "Served their commisson better" & "Having a Cheap Prices" For their stream asset, but they even doesn't care about minor who get exploited.

Vgen's fee is already low compared to other comm websites. It also costs money to run the site, they HAVE to make money somehow to keep it running.
Either add the 5% to your prices or go elsewhere atp ๐ญ

Reminder there are plenty of cheap, ethical, non-broker artists on Vgen. I would know cause I commission them as much as possible. Anyway grow up yall, there's still cheap artists out there, maybe not dirt cheap but I'd rather pay more than get cheap art made by an abused artist.

So far, Iโve always been trustworthy when it comes to the #BGM raffles. I didnโt even know that so many raffles were actually scams. :(
Honestly, Iโve been wanting to say this for a long time.
I canโt help but wonder why there are so many BGM commissions that seem to be AI generated.
Distinguishing AI generated music from human-made music isnโt easy, and it can be difficult to put the differences into words.

Update regarding community safety on VGen
UNETHICAL BROKERS:
Happy to say weโve identified many previously unconfirmed JRUhub brokers, affiliates, and other unethical group accounts and they have all been banned for misrepresenting the nature of their profiles and services, intentionally inviting bad actors, and ban evading.
Big thank you to everyone in our community who has helped to investigate, report on-site, and provide detailed proof that our team were then able to review and take action on. Thank you for helping us keep the community safe!
REMAINING BROKERS:
In the short term, broker discovery has been rebalanced, their withheld funds processed through VGen Payments may not be released until after a commission is complete, and all brokers will continue to not have any invite codes. If any broker accounts mistype themselves as an individual or studio, they will now be suspended for at least 1 month immediately upon discovery.
We are still evaluating whether additional long-term actions are required.
Please do not assume all brokers are bad. However, if you do see suspicious behaviour, please continue to report them on-site and we will investigate.
ARTIST INVITE CODES:
There is now a hard limit of 2 unused artist invite codes per Verified Artist at any given time. If you earn more through a challenge or special event drop and you already have 2 in your dashboard, you wonโt receive any more.
ARTIST CODE GIVEAWAYS:
Effective Nov 1, 2026, general contests, raffles, or applications are no longer allowed, even if recipients are screened. This is due to the increasing sophistication of groups who fraudulently misrepresent themselves as individuals.
If you see someone hosting a raffle or are in violation of our Artist Code Policy in any way, please report them on-site with a screenshot or link to their violating post and weโll investigate. Their first offence will result in a warning before more severe administrative actions may be taken for repeated offences, including losing verification status and suspensions.
