My campaign and others complained about this for months. This should’ve been a national story. Thank God @MSTODAYnews reported it and we and others were able to try to reach these voters.
Local journalism matters!
Voter inactivations surged ahead of Tuesday’s midterm elections, the first since the MS Secretary of State’s Office authorized unverified data from the credit bureau Experian for counties to use statewide when cleaning their voter rolls.

My deepest condolences to Congressman-elect @Ojeda4America.
I cried when I saw this video. For those of us who have lost family to Parkinson’s, we know how cruel the disease is. But Richard Neece Ojeda fought the disease and made sure he was there for his son. May he RIP.
For years, my dad battled Parkinson’s disease. On Election Night, I got to tell him, “Pop, we won.”
This morning, he passed away.
A part of me believes he held on just long enough to see his son make it to Congress.
He won’t be there when I’m sworn in. But I know he’ll be standing right beside me.
Rest easy, Daddy. I’ll take it from here. These next two years are for you ❤️

God dont like ugly! Hyde-Smith refused to return her Senate blue slip, a procedural approval traditionally needed for judicial nominees.
Without her approval, Colom's nomination never advanced to a confirmation hearing.
Hyde-Smith later openly stated: "He thought he was going to be a federal judge, and I blocked him."
Now he has her Job!

After a long day scanning red-hot Hollywood development archives, we stopped in at the newly-reopened Burrito King, where Yanina hooked us up with scrumptious tacos. The City needs to fix the dead streetlights at Sunset & Alvarado, but the lil burro is brightening the night!

Here’s a roadmap for Congress:
100 allegations of corruption in Trump’s Washington, totaling a third of a TRILLION dollars.
Let’s investigate.

OMG Dr.Annie Andrews put out these book banning videos before being elected and they’re hilarious and I think we’re going to love her.

Call me a softie, but @Timodc’s @BulwarkOnline podcast episode today with Adam Hamilton, a pastor who was just elected as the first Democratic senator from Kansas since 1932, made me cry.
Hearing him talk about how the injustices he’s witnessed in this country and his belief in loving thy neighbor inspired him to run for office genuinely moved me. He wants to bring decency and civility back to our politics at a time when we desperately need both.
He restored a little of my faith in what politicians can and should be. I’ve always believed public service should represent the best among us. People who genuinely want to make a difference and stand up for what’s right.
I know, I know. I sound cheesy. But there have been so many moments over the last few years when I’ve wanted to walk away from politics altogether. And hearing someone like him, and knowing that voters chose someone with that kind of conviction and compassion, reminds me why I haven’t.
Give the episode a listen 🤍

The Wall Street Journal reports that after First Lady Melania Trump complained about people she knew getting deported, the president would tell aides that the architect of his aggressive immigration campaign, Stephen Miller, had gone too far.
Republicans in Texas and Florida privately complained to the White House as well.
