Today, I join Ismailis in Toronto and across Canada to celebrate the 85th birthday of His Highness the Aga Khan.
The Aga Khan shares many of the values Canadian’s hold dear, and his unwavering dedication to helping others is an inspiration to us all. #SalgirahMubarak

On behalf of @cityofmarkham I wish extend our deepest condolences to the Lastman family. Mel Lastman was an incredibly energetic & dedicated public servant for the people of North York & Toronto. It was an honour for me to sit at the table with him during GTA Mayors’ meetings

It’s a disgusting law & I expect Trudeau will intervene when it gets to the Supreme Court (as a Liberal, I’ll be mad if he doesn’t)
Now he is funding the Court Challenges program (which angers the Bloc and the Quebec government bc it helps fund the challenges in Quebec courts).

You got the refrence froom someone else that the prime minister @JustinTrudeau has spoken to this issue and “does not like it”. Federal Govt will intervene at the right time. . Thank you PM for representing the true spirit of Canada and its diversity. – at Richmond Hill, Ontario

I am profoundly disturbed by this report that an animal carcass was found in front of the Islamic Cultural Center of Vaudreuil-Soulanges. This doesn’t represent our society.
Those responsible must be brought to justice.
1. We are gravely concerned about this report.
The report is eerily reminiscent of the dumping of a pig carcass outside the Quebec City Mosque prior the shooting that happened.
To our leaders - what are you waiting for?

There is a deep, discriminatory meaning to this law. It clearly runs counter to the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.
Elin Wilson drew this card for her teacher Fatemah Anvari after she lost her position because of #Bill21.
Even a third-grader can see that this law is unfair.

Overnight Winter parking restrictions start November 15 through to April 15.
During a Winter event, remember not to park on City streets.
@Markham_Ops can’t easily move around parked cars, making it difficult to clear roads.
