On my morning walk today, crossed paths with Sanjay Bangar and we spoke for 20-30 secs. Two things that struck me instantly 1) He was listening to something on his earphones; immd removed them while greeting me and talking.. shows respect 2) came across as extremely easy 1/2
2/2 almost cool and confident….shows no airs and simplicity.
I have always liked him for the way he speaks…measured and thought through. Brought a smile to my face, and made the morning walk worth the effort.

Heard an interesting statistic about demand for @ROLEX in Goa, India. After opening its new store, there have been about 600 demands in 7 months. Even if 20% dont convert the number is simply amazing. Wonder what this means for larger markets Delhi, Mumbai or old money cities…
After watching this and reliving the magnificent spell, I just wondered again what would it mean to face the best pace attack. It’s very acceptable to think that the best world XI would feature so many WI greats

At 8.5 in the #DCvMI match, there was caught behind appeal for Rohit off Kuldeep. How good was Rohit to walk slightly and then hold back making DC waste a review that was off the pads. But even better is @KumarDofficial for not giving out in the first place. #IPL2026
Too many top order batsmen and in the current lineup, Hardik comes in too late. Even Jacks may be wasted lower down but both these can go as finishers. But I love the bowling setup. With 6 frontline bowlers in the starting XI and a portential to add 1 more spinner / pacer
Just because #T20WorldCup does not feel as special as 83, 07, 11 and 24 we feel immense pride to dominate white ball cricket since 2023. We have stream rolled everything and with tremendous heart. ♥️
Now can someone raise their hands for the tests and make us great again?
Despite the big win, I still did not see a dominating team in full swing
- did not get many wickets
- Varun went for plenty in his second game
- sixth bowling option is non existent
- Bumrah was off
- catches dropped
The WI match will be very difficult. #INDvsZIM #T20WC2026
Here is an unspoken fact. The memes against NZ before and after the #ChampionsTrophy2025 finals were very few, almost non existent. This shows that India respects these opponents and admires their performances. Genuine affection for those guys. #ChampionsTrophy #indvsnzfinal
What about flavoured popcorn? Why did we not get any budgetary relief here? 😆😆

I have no idea what will the #Budget2025 throw at us but I say this with all conviction…FM integrity is not a question in my mind. Her politics and policies may be challenged but NOT her intent. She is also far more moderate than the other rabble rousing random cronies.
Nothing against the probable new India batting coach, but can he help batters play spin better, leave more, defend, play attritional cricket, teach them the value of a draw? If there is any positive evidence I am all for this move.

Almost all who are mourning #ZakirHussaindeath have not watched or listened to him beyond the wah taj advt
I hate putting this post but maybe, just maybe there is need to look for newer Indian batters and phase out Rohit, Kohli, Ash, Jaddu. They have been fabulous but maybe their time is up. My other worry is the lack of replacement options who could bat in SENA conditions #BGT2024
There’s much spoken about Rohit and his captaincy in the past days. Only one practical solution is for him to play sensibly the first 30 deliveries on merit, leave and shoulder arms if needed but most importantly trust himself to lead and play a non flashy opener role.
