Busy few days for us, with call outs on the WHW, Ben Lui, & An Caisteal. Massive thanks @MCA_media Rescue 151 & Rescue 199 for air support. Remember: respect the Munros, good hillcraft incl. map & compass, right kit & sensible choices are key. #BenLui #AnCaisteal

Winter's grip remains on Scottish mountains! Another challenging rescue on Stuc a Chroin last night. Two climbers brought to safety. Conditions are still tough – are YOU prepared? #MountainSafety #WinterPreparedness #Scotland #MountainRescue
The team have had a fairly active start to the year. We've been requested three times so far this month by Police Scotland Forth Valley . 🗓️🚨 Firstly assisting an injured walker who was in Edinchip. And also assisting a neighbouring team 🤝👨⚕️extract a casualty at Alva Glen.
Thankfully, the quick thinking of two young walkers who happened to come upon the casualty were able to provide hot drinks and guide the rescue team into their location with their headtorches, preventing a bad situation becoming worse. 🙏 #Rescue #Teamwork #Walkers #Headtorches
We would also like to thanks the wonderful team @therealfoodcafe for food and refreshments.

Last weekend was our final training of the year.
And it was time to test our skills against the search dogs from Search & Rescue Dog Association (Scotland) and SARDA Southern Scotland along with their handlers from Tayside Mountain Rescue Team and Ochils Mountain Rescue Team.
Agencies are reporting heavy snow followed by rain fall will create snow instability & #Avalanche risk. Added to that the wild weather reported @the_MWIS & other agencies regarding #stormbert mean the hills will be wintery and wild today. ❄️🌨️

Some good advice on how to enjoy a winter day in the Scottish hills.
Remember, if you do need assistance, then call "999" and ask for "POLICE" then "MOUNTAIN RESCUE". This ensures you will get assistance as quickly as possible.

Its #999Day! Big shoutout to our awesome volunteers who keep our team going. And let's not forget the families, friends, and employers who have our backs too!

Here is a recap of our weekend....
On Saturday our team were busy bee's with our services being requested three times in 24 hours.
And as we were heading back, the team were alerted to an incident in Tyndrum to an individual with an injured lower leg. Thankfully local resources resolved this.
Along with helping at the local #thecanmorestreetcaleidh in Callander our volunteers have really gone above and beyond.

In the dark.
It’s that time again the days are getting shorter on the hill the light goes quicker and you have to modify your plans over winter … heavywhalley.wordpress.com/2…
