shameless self plug once again but this is actually a big part of my upcoming series “The Nikolaevs” ! Alexi & Camilla are the main characters of the show & their romance is the core of the story. In canon they’ve been together for 18 years !!

I still think about this GN pitch I did a while back about a Muslim vampire, fighting to stay faithful while also navigating pre-existing marginalization. It went nowhere, unfortunately, despite all my efforts. Yet, I'm still proud of all the work I did! (1/2)

This is heartbreaking.
"Dr. Hossam’s lawyer warns: his heart is exhausted, his body shattered from continuous torture, and the freezing temperatures in his cell are worsening his suffering.
Between cold walls, the doctor who saved hundreds of children and the wounded is left with no adequate food, no heating, and his health is deteriorating day by day.
🔴 Every moment of silence is a contribution to his suffering.
Any delay in saving him could be the moment that costs him his life.
✊🏻 Speak about him… spread his name… do not let the voice of the doctor who saved lives fade away."

"Don’t forget Dr. Hussam Abu Safiya… 183 days in captivity, and his medical and humanitarian voice is still silenced behind bars."

It is tragic that Sameer Project is having to cut down on its services due to a lack of donations, please help reverse this awful trend. Donate, share and support:
Music classes have to stop 💔😭
Look at their smiles and faces filled with joy in their music therapy classes. One of our favorite videos comes from the music classes with Jaber and his team but sadly we will have to stop them! Help: chuffed.org/project/113327-r…
The lack of donations are forcing us to cut down on our work, and this will include the five camps that were receiving weekly music classes, including the three camps run by The Sameer Project. We find music therapy essential and not a luxury but just like we had to reduce water by 50%, we had to cut down on our activities.
Our hearts break as we are constantly advocating for aid and support to Palestinians in Gaza in the ongoing genocide. But donations are continuously dropping for mutual aid groups and some are considering closing due to lack of funds.
Please help us bring music classes back by donating to the Refaat Alareer Camp: chuffed.org/project/113327-r…
Other ways to donate include:
paypal.me/mahertali (Paypal option, please make sure to add a message saying "Camp")

Please support our blanket and food distribution project with a generous donation.
Last night winds with gusts exceeding 100 km/h battered the Gaza Strip, lifting whole tents away, leaving their occupiers soaked and frozen in the pouring rain! The tents that didn’t fly away were uprooted or collapsed or took in water through perished canvas; most tents were flooded.
Imagine then the impact of being handed a dry, warm blanket: what indescribable relief and happiness!
Yesterday I launched our blanket appeal. A donor gifted 15 - what a start! By the end of the day I was able to buy 5 more. I’ll be honest … I was hoping to have enough donations to afford at least 10. The need for warm dry blankets is overwhelming!
Each blanket costs $15!
Please be a beacon of hope.
I aim to distribute blankets to all those affected by the storms ... with your help …
Inshallah.
