What happens when vulnerabilities are discovered faster than you can fix them?
The next challenge is bringing that speed to remediation and prevention, inside the software factory.
See how we’re connecting discovery, remediation, and prevention, and how you can run your next security sprint on us. about.gitlab.com/blog/securi…
The GitLab platform isn’t affected by PHP2Shell, but if your teams run PHP, you can use container scanning, GitLab Orbit, and code search to find every affected project and group. Then, let GitLab Duo Agent Platform automate the fix. about.gitlab.com/blog/gitlab…

Hello @paraschopra
We’ve been building @pointblank_club for the last 7 years. We’ve 36 Google Summer of Code mentees, 50+ Hackathon wins, 1800+ merged PRs to major OSS projects (Rust, LLVM, Swift, CRIU etc) and much more: pointblank.club/achievements. We were recently voted the “Student Community of the Year” at IndiaFOSS.
We’re exploring research and want to get better at it. Your team at @lossfunk is a major inspiration and we’d love to learn from you guys. How can we make this possible? 👀

AI is coming for every job BUT DevOps will probably be the last one to be replaced by AI.
I can't make a “day in my life” video.
It's just me keep going from my bed to my setup and back. And they're just a step away
It won't be a video but a GIF 😂

It’s been an eventful week for software security. Serious vulnerabilities in widely used software like PHP and Node.js, new evidence of what advanced AI models can discover, and no shortage of security vendors offering solutions.
AI is making vulnerabilities easier to find and increasingly easier to exploit. That raises the stakes for every company running software.
Consider what happens when a new vulnerability is disclosed. Security teams have to identify every affected application. Engineering has to update dependencies or code, run tests, clear release controls, deploy, and verify the fix is live.
In a large enterprise, that work spans thousands of applications and millions of dependencies, much of it in software the company didn’t write.
As models get more capable, the volume of findings will grow and the time attackers need to act will shrink. Our ability to safely deploy fixes is already struggling to keep up.
Network defenses, SOC automation, and virtual patching are essential to contain threats while engineering teams work through remediation. But we still have to fix the underlying software.
We need to fundamentally rethink how we secure and maintain software in an era of machine-speed attacks.
In the light of such Cyber security attacks.
I've decided to join my nephew at his venture of farming in his tent.
