just have to wonder how the jevs of the world will survive. If it can be done with a small amount of compute , there will be a million clones ready to be used on a laptop. If it needs huge amount of compute then the big labs can also essentially do the same .

A very low-key announcement. I have been burning tokens working on a shopping comparision website: karturi.fi right now it still does require lot of hand holding, but plan is to not require it at all. lets see how long it takes for that to happen

Sandboxes for coding agents are dime a dozen, but I wanted something for my own needs. - the container runtime is configurable (apple container or docker container) - each agent session can create a commit - single or parallel sessions - review sub-agent - and many more options

Some technicalities: BetterPass uses SwiftUI for the interface, CloudKit to store a password verifier and an encrypted vault key, and iCloud Keychain to sync the encrypted vault entries.

The master password is never stored. It derives a key used to verify the password and decrypt the vault key. The vault key then encrypts the credentials before they are stored. No passwords or other vault secrets are stored in plaintext.
