10/10 event. Ann Michael Maye stayed an extra 30 minutes. The line was still at least 150 deep waiting to meet her. Market Basket gave out gift cards for all those who attended and missed out on the photo opp. The Queen of the North has motion.

An investor asking a founder that he or she is considering investing in to send free samples might be the most JV move of all time. Buy the f-cking product. Small signals like this substantially swing the “respect meter” for the founder early on.

Stevia should have no place in hydration for endurance athletes. Ironman is a business at the end of the day, but this is crazy. I hope Mortal will create an endurance version that removes the stevia.

It’s so crazy. I really hope they consider an endurance version. I understand it’s about who writes the checks $$$ but when it puts the athletes in harm, it crosses the line.

The reason to deliberately do hard things is so that when non-self-elected challenges arrive (& they will), you can tell yourself: “I don’t know how this is all going to turn out, but I am certain I can do hard things.” Don’t self injure. But doing hard things is always worthwhile.
