I had to explain this today to my 16 year old, who attends a diverse high school and values diversity in a potential college. The fact that institutions can use her parental alum status & workplace but can blately omit the value of diversity for her classmates is horrifying.

Improve Tier 1 Mental Health Support! Student-to-counselor ratios right now are 400:1 or worse. This has been normalized & is unacceptable. The resources are there & I’m calling on states to invest in reducing these ratios because counselors & students deserve better.
