Five years ago today, I was fired from CNN after giving a speech at the United Nations in defense of Palestinian rights. So much about the situation in Israel and Palestine has changed since then. I can’t help but wonder how this “dangerous” speech would have been received now:

This is what Biden feared, according to Politico: That a ceasefire would enable the world to see the extent of the carnage in Gaza, paid for by US taxpayers.

Every single case Leah Askey prosecuted must be double checked. The negligence on her behalf should be criminal and disbarment is the very least of what she deserves.

The new @boburnham Netflix special made me feel something for the first time in a year. I don’t understand how a comedy special could evoke so many other emotions but I wish I could thank him for it.
