Let's just stop and ponder how impressive this really is for Europe: they have created a product that is demonstrably worse than Teams.
POLITICOEurope
@POLITICOEuropeOct 1
The European Commission has rolled out an alternative to Microsoft Teams. But officials using it aren't impressed, with one describing the tool as “absolute shit.” vist.ly/5kje9

‘Absolute s–t’: EU’s Microsoft Teams alternative draws bad reviews from officials

The U.S. would “instantly” win a hypothetical tech war, an official moaned.

dylan faden in control: resonant is the world’s saddest, wettest boy. people across multiple planes of existence hate his ass. deep state officials do jerk off motions as he passes. eldritch horrors sigh and go, “OH IT’S OUR SECOND CHOICE / RUNNER-UP / DADDY’S LITTLE PISSBABY.”

release the most jokes cut
DiscussingFilm
@DiscussingFilmSep 11
Zach Cregger says he removed most of the jokes from his ‘RESIDENT EVIL’ after test screening reactions. “I stripped out as much of the jokes as possible. I then found that not only did the audience enjoy the movie more, but I also liked the movie a lot more.” (Source: hollywoodreporter.com/movies…)

Typescript (not the Go one) compiled to native. About 45MB, starts in 15ms. To be fair, the bytecode bundled one is much smaller and starts equally fast. But is not as cool!

basically pronouncing a name "correctly" is not exactly about pronouncing it "how the person pronounces it" (as many people say). It's more about pronouncing it the way *they expect you to based on your own accent*
