Why India held a funeral cremation for a TIGER. 🤯
AS AN AFRICAN, I’VE NEVER SEEN ANYTHING INSPIRING LIKE THIS. 😭🙏
There’s a famous tiger, affectionately known as the “Supermum” in India
When she died, locals gathered and honoured her with a real funeral.
People may laugh and say Indians worship animals, like cows, elephants, monkeys, snakes and even tigers. But they are wrong
There’s more to India’s relationship with animals than outsiders care to understand.
Indian culture teaches people to respect life in all form.🙏
I appreciate this side of India, please repost and let more people understand this🇮🇳🙏
😭😭😂
First in my bloodline to witness a communist Ramayana. 💀😭
Where Devtas are the oppressors, Asurs are the oppressed, Ravana is a true feminist and liberator. 👀
And Mata Sita scolds Lakshman for cutting off Shurpanakha’s nose, saying, “You disfigured a woman’s face. Now you’ll be the reason for my abduction.” 😭😭
WHAT AM I EVEN WATCHING? 💀
A Lexus is not making that sound😂

Let me ask you…
If India’s Metro network had continued expanding at the pace it did before 2014, how long would the wait be for cities like Pune to have a metro?
YEARS….no…DECADES perhaps.
And that was UNACCEPTABLE.
In 2014, India had just 248 km of Metro lines across 5 cities.
Today, we have nearly 1,200 km across 26 cities.
Over 1 crore people travel by Metro every day.
The impact goes beyond statistics or numbers.
It means less time in traffic, more family time, greater productivity and better opportunities.
This is the transformation we are working towards for urban India!

"We must know that the Indians have a most subtle intellect, and other nations concede to them in arithmetic and geometry and the other liberal disciplines. This is manifest in the nine figures."
This sentence was written in the year 976. Not in India. In Spain.
Let us hear that story...
A scribe named Vigila was copying a big codex at the San Martin de Albelda monastery in La Rioja: calendars, church texts, arithmetic. On one page, under a red heading "on the figures of arithmetic", he wrote that note in Latin. Then he drew nine figures: 9 8 7 6 5 4 3 2 1.
This page, folio 12v, is the earliest surviving example of the Indian numerals in any European document.
Fibonacci's Liber Abaci, the book usually credited for bringing these numerals to Europe, came only in 1202. That is 226 years later.
The page itself tells us the route. The figures run 9 down to 1, the Arabic reading direction. They had reached Spain through Arabic manuscripts. And notice, there is no zero among them. Only nine figures. Zero was still travelling.
The codex survives in the library of El Escorial, marked d.I.2. The sentence is still readable on folio 12v.
Yesterday I shared K.127 - the same Indian number system going east, a zero carved on a Cambodian temple door jamb in 682. Here it is going west, 3 centuries later. The scribe could have just copied the figures and moved on. He wrote down whose knowledge it was.
Sources: Codex Vigilanus (Albeldense), Real Biblioteca del Monasterio de El Escorial, d.I.2, folio 12v; J.J. O'Connor and E.F. Robertson, "Arabic numerals", MacTutor History of Mathematics, University of St Andrews.

That's when I clocked for myself that he was a prime time bluffer. Fast forward 14 years, he is talking the same crap. Zero maturity in politics. Basically, an idiot.
Had to wait 3 yrs but worth every single minute.
Academy keeps saving our arse but they wanna sell them for "pure profit".
A dramatic win on a UCL night and I still don’t feel a thing. I know it’s not sustainable. Football was gross before we scored and the players can’t run. Nice win but that’s about it bc idk when we will win again lol.
