For a solid hour this morning: no one else was up, I had my solitary coffee and the lovely green petrichor of our recent rain.
The Saturday Farmers Market in #GreenBay starts this weekend. They're selling merch with art by @stnorbert art student Claudia Dumoulin. Go Claudia!

My @stnorbert students collaborated with members of the @bgcgb to make prayer flags. Yesterday we celebrated and installed them under auspicious skies.

I've had such wonderful students this year and it's a treat to be alongside them as they reflect on their work and celebrate their accomplishments.
I enjoyed reading these books to our kids, but now I love @haleshannon. Well said.

This is actually a good question.
When I first heard this, I felt the same way, until I learned what the "classical education model" actually means.
A thread.
Buzzing from the FATE conference in Denver and very grateful to past Katie who apparently already drafted the assignment briefs I need for class today.
Hooray!

Once upon a time, a dynasty ruled an empire.
For generations, the emperor’s leadership went unchallenged because everyone knew the emperor was the wisest strongest warrior in the empire.
How did they know?
The emperor’s clothes.
Tis the season of kicking snow piles.
Highly recommend it as a way to let off steam after, say, a meeting about budget cuts.
Today I got to be part of a panel talking about #care, labor, and art with Carrie Scanga and @Dr_JessieW. I am grateful to get to share work and ideas with these two brilliant women and heartened by the audience's response to the work.
I'm teaching two fun workshops at @hamiltonwoodtyp this summer: No-cards and a Letterpress Seed Swap. Printing with Hamilton's collection of wood type is a heady pleasure. Join me!

Love following along with @DustinDemmer content. Helps me learn about native plants and scratches the gardening itch while there's still snow over everything.
This guide is "aimed at assisting people interested in creating, designing, and installing native plantings that support the objectives of cleaner water, better wildlife habitat, and a happier soul."
We can all get behind those goals, right?
If you’re looking for native plantings that support cleaner water, wildlife habitat, and a happier soul, take a look at the Native Plant Guide created by Patrick Goggin of Wisconsin Lakes Partnership.

My alma mater (@ColoradoCollege) is withdrawing from the US News + World Report ranking. I'm pleased to see it and to hear the college president articulate their reasoning.
