Mind you, Kosher food in SA is generally contracted out under a separate tender specifically for kosher food, they don't require all contractors to supply kosher which is how procurement should happen. Muslims insist of the whole contract

Fuck all of it because none of it is native to my land.

I feel like the reception would not even be the least kind to legislative, lifestyle and psychological/behavioural changes host countries make to allow citizens to practice Islam, esp. if it's not a dominant belief. Like RSA, for example.
Dunno, if I'm making sense 🤔

My sentiments on the Islamic movement are that there's something to be said for a religion that alters the lifestyle of a non-practising, host country, nationally.
My scepticism is that accommodations made by host countries are rarely reciprocated by the religion's country of origin
Just sitting ducks man, 400-600 years later after being turned out by every single group on earth, we still have the survival instincts of a dodo.😂😭✋🏾

Yah I’ve figured it out. Black people don’t have a single political braincell. That’s why we are generally a powerless people. Everything’s political, including economics, culture, and social interactions. We don’t see things from a political lens of power and self-interest.
Ok but what about that one guy that died in South Africa? how will Africa unite when Xenophobia in South Africa is happening???? Priorities people!😭
More than 60 Christians killed in Ethiopia 'massacre', church official says bbc.in/4swbUDS
Let me explain this for the last time with an example😭
The majority of patients in Khayelitsha hospital are non-muslim and Xhosa. So for example, If I as a caterer want to serve umleqwa, I now can’t serve the food and meat my people eat because a muslim board will say it’s not from a halaal certified butcher or fails some sort of standard they have.
This is not about halaal, apply it Kosher too for all I care, it’s about social, economic, and political currency that minorities enjoy in South Africa at the expense of the majority. We shouldn’t have to explain that to so called “educated” people.
By having to buy from a halaal certified butcher to serve umleqwa where does that leave my local Xhosa suppliers that cannot afford that or simply don’t know how to comply to those specific standards? Who must I now buy from and pay to do business with my own people?

Its literally Black Consciousness 101
"We are aware the non-africans are sitting at our table and have no right to be there, we want to remove him frombour table, strip the tabke of any trappings by him, decorate it true African style, then ask him tobrejoin on our terms" BIKO
Lol have all white people been racist to me? No. But I recognize the threat of anti-blackness from their community. Is it wrong to do the same with the muslim community? Or is 'europhobia' the only allowed one?
We unapologetically want a South Africa where black South Africans are the default identity and priority as an 80% majority. Everyone else in that 20% is an outlier and every institution must reflect that, the end.
The celebration of our diversity is always presented as mutual and inclusive, yet the compromises required to sustain it appear to be expected disproportionately from one side. We are constantly lectured on the virtues of diversity by those who make little effort to learn our languages and understand our cultures, yet are all too willing to impose their beliefs on us, through courts and otherwise.
No one forces people to eat Halaal or Kosher foods. Woolworths stocks Halaal meat for a reason - there is a market for it. Checkers sells Yahrzeit candles - the ones that last all night that Jewish people use to remember their dead loved ones. Let us celebrate our diversity - go to restaurants that sell alcohol and those that do not. Islamophobia has emerged recently - in whose interests?
That’s how inclusive and tolerant we are as South Africans. Yet look at how quick you were to tell me to just find another Spur. We create room for you to have your Halaal food etc. but you refuse to be inclusive and consider us, the majority. You see the problem?

IF SOUTH AFRICA WERE EXCLUDED FROM AGOA, the country would face an additional Most Favoured Nation tariff of around 3.4% on top of the existing tariffs the current U.S. Administration added to various countries.
Currently, some South African products enter the U.S. market at 12.5% tariffs (Liberation Day tariff). Without AGOA, these tariffs would rise to 15.9%, slightly reducing the competitiveness of South African agricultural products in the U.S. market.
Still, one could argue that while this would be a challenging path, IT WOULD NOT NECESSARILY BE AS CATASTROPHIC as we have faced in the past, when it faced much higher U.S. tariffs and still managed to compete.
For example, in 2025, those of us in the South African farming sector faced tariffs of around 30%. Still, exports to the U.S. were strong. South Africa’s agricultural exports to the U.S. in 2025 totalled US$504 million, down 3% from the previous year.
