A 19-year-old Miami University (Ohio) student Alexandra Patterson was arrested after allegedly posting on (never heard of it🤔) Yik Yak:
“how many dining dollars to kirk the anti abortion table in Armstrong.”
Students staffing a pro-life booth at the Armstrong Student Center on campus understood “kirk” as a direct reference to Charlie Kirk’s assassination. They reported it as a threat as they should have.
She was charged with making a terroristic threat (felony), aggravated menacing, and inducing panic. Bond set at $170,000. FBI was also notified. She still sits in jail.
