a year after speedrun 005, i was back in the room for speedrun 007 alumni demo day. lunch, 80 pitches, then a social at chi lounge with a lot of board games. caught up with partners and batchmates i hadn't seen in a year. all the best to the speedrun batch for their demo day today!

reviewed the pebble index ring by @ericmigi today. emailed him about the one thing i wished it did on its own. his answer: connect your own claude or agent and build it yourself. huge respect for him as a founder. but as a consumer, i just want to buy something that works right out of the box. 4/10 from me.

had a crazy conversation with my friend @caleb_friesen . showed him our app demo and here's how it went. he mentions that if there was a system that just told him, ‘hey! reply to this person now!’ he'd be like ‘oh yeah!’ probably ten times a day. he didn't realize Kyra already does that. it had pulled something from a whatsapp conversation we'd had and scheduled it on my calendar automatically. i didn't touch anything, didn't even open the app. that's one of the many problems i'm trying to fix. two months later you realize you forgot to follow up on something, and now it feels weird to even bring it up. Kyra decides what's worth resurfacing before you forget. crazy stuff coming up.
