Congratulations to our @UFBME PhD student, Allison Campbell, who was selected for the UF T32 Neuromuscular Plasticity Training Program (NMPT), overseen by Drs. Fuller, Vandenborne, and Judge. Allison is researching injectable hydrogel/drug therapies for Spinal Cord Injury (SCI).

Peripheral nerve injuries have a huge economic impact with more than 200K #PNI repair operations carried out in the U.S. alone each year. The current method to repair nerve injuries with gaps longer than 2 cm is through autografts, which has its disadvantages. Read on below⬇️
