In July 2024 a Black mother of two called 911 because she thought a prowler was outside her Illinois home. Two deputies came inside, joked with her about a pot of “hot steaming water” on her stove, and seconds later one of them drew his gun and told her: “I swear to God I’ll shoot you right in your face.” Deputy Sean Grayson then shot Sonya Massey, 36, in the face in her own kitchen. When his partner said he’d go get the medical kit, Grayson told him she was done and called it “a head shot.” She had picked up the pot, set it down and ducked behind the counter, and then appeared to lift it again. At trial Grayson said he feared she would scald him. He was charged with first-degree murder, but in October 2025 the jury convicted him of second-degree, which Illinois allows when a defendant honestly, even if unreasonably, believed he was in danger. In the video below the deputies stand in her kitchen chatting about the pot on the stove, and you can hear how fast it turns. In January 2026 he got the maximum, 20 years. In court he said he “froze” and was sorry. Her 16-year-old daughter Summer told the judge, “Twenty years is not enough.” With credit for good behavior he could be out in about eight and a half years, and this summer the parole board turned down his request for early release over his cancer. Was second-degree murder the right verdict for what’s on that camera?

Efter matchen när han och övriga sprang vändor på planen fortsatte häcklandet. ”Värdelös sopa, sämst i laget”.

The notion that the safety of British Jews depends on Israel being free to commit atrocities in Palestine with impunity is both disgraceful and offensive. Let’s be clear: these Zionist publications do not speak for all Jews, and opposition to genocide should be non-negotiable.

Israel is the first state which has a death penalty for one race but not another since Nazi Germany.
Israel just made it legal to hang Palestinians who have a 99.74% conviction rate in their courts For Israelis it's a 1.9% conviction rate for crimes against Palestinians but the death penalty is still illegal Israel can now kill any Palestinian they accuse

Väldigt bra förklarat kring klasskillnader i Frankrike, hur överklassen skyddas och hur arga många fransoser är samtidigt som fascistisk politik drivs igenom under ”liberal flagg”.

abdul el sayed and every muslim person around him has been called a radical islamic jihadist terrorist every single day by the entire political spectrum since he won the primary and i haven’t seen a single think piece or major media interview of an arab voter abt how this makes them feel. arab and muslim voters combined make up almost 4% of the electorate. jewish voters make up 1.4% & many of those jewish voters aren’t zionists or will let israel get in the way of preserving american democracy. so we’ve heard endlessly from a tiny group of potential spoiler voters who aren’t getting their way on a deeply unpopular issue- why?
If you're trying to understand why so many Michigan Jewish Democrats are defecting, I wrote in August about it. It's not, per se, about foreign policy. theatlantic.com/ideas/2026/0…

The Western media is already trying to rewrite the story of Lula’s victory. They want you to believe it was a triumph of broad democratic coalitions and institutional resilience. But the material reality on the ground tells a completely different story. Three weeks before the election, Lula was trailing in the polls. The algorithms were rigged against him. The cosmopolitan bourgeoisie that backed him in 2022 had abandoned him. So Lula stopped talking about abstract democracy and started talking about survival. He promised to cut the workweek from 44 to 40 hours. He targeted the crushing cost of public transport. He expanded the social wage. He stopped preaching to the liberal elites and started speaking directly to the factory floor and the favelas. And when the far-right took a two-point lead after the first round, the working class did what the working class always does when the system tries to erase them. They took the streets. The mobilizations on Avenida Paulista and across Brazil were the largest spontaneous left-wing uprisings in the country's history. This was not a campaign managed by political consultants. It was an organic explosion of the popular classes physically dragging their candidate across the finish line. This changes the entire calculus of Lula's fourth term. In 2022, he owed his victory to a broad coalition of elites who just wanted stability. In 2026, he owes his survival entirely to the streets. The empire threw tariffs, censorship, and disinformation at him, thinking the working class was too atomized to fight back. They forgot that when you push a population to the brink, they do not just vote. They mobilize. Lula does not owe this mandate to the algorithms, the media, or the bourgeoisie. He owes it to the workers who built the country. And the streets always collect their debts.

This working-class man who righteously snapped after being hounded by a social media prankster is all of us right now. Something has got to give. This economy where the rich keep getting richer while the masses struggle to survive is not sustainable.

Simply put 🚨 Javier Milei & Marco Rubio collaborated to exfiltrate Brazil’s most high-profile criminal from grave charges of large-scale corruption and electoral fraud. This is the true function of the Reactionary International, working across borders to corrode our democracies.
Argentine state collusion: This is the van that transported fugitive Flavio Bolsonaro to Puerto Iguazú Airport. It has an Argentine diplomatic license plate. It was part of convoy that entered runway under custody of Airport Security Police.

This war is really the last looting of the imperial treasury before the dynasty comes crashing down.
According to the Wall Street Journal, the US military has taken our Patriot Missile Defense System out of Texas and sent it to Israel in preparation for a new round of combat operations against Iran after the midterms. At the same time, the Intercept reports that "top defense officials are expressing increasing worry about the vulnerability of U.S. bases around the world and even within the United States..." ICE deports 10 Cuban refugees—to African country they've never been to. "This is a kidnapping," woman said. "Tricked us saying we were going to Miami—ended up in Africa. Hands & feet shackled entire 25 hour flight. "They hit me, pulled my hair, threw me against plane windows," said another woman. "It was horrible! They forced me down among men." Several women showed marks and bruises on their arms—and swollen feet that made it hard to walk after being shackled. Their passports and phones were confiscated or destroyed by ICE agents. Leaving them without identification or a way to contact anyone. Now worry about being detained by local police in Bangui, Central African Republic—because they have no documents or legal status. Posting first full length, English translated, and credited video here to help raise awareness.
