The @MedBoardOfCA refuses to debate AB 3119 (legiscan.com/CA/text/AB3119/…), the Long Covid medical education bill, even though the bill was passed by 120 legislators in both parties & @CAgovernor. The board won't discuss the need for doctors to learn about Long Covid.

The CA Medical Board refused to debate AB3119 at 5 quarterly meetings. @GovPressOffice @CAgovernor: Fire the Medical Board members who act like kings and subvert the democratic process and ignore public health.
The bill passed unanimously in the Assembly & Senate and was signed by @CAgovernor in September 2024. For the class to be added to the CME curriculum for doctors, the Medical Board has to pass AB 3119.
