theory: the reason hades is flopping is because everyone knows elysium is coming soon(ish), therefore fans subconsciously don’t care as much about hades and it’s not as exciting because we know we don’t have to wait another 4 years for the next album.
if you really deep it, melanie’s never gonna do anything to try increase her popularity again. she’s been in the spotlight before, she’s had the fame and knows what it feels like. it’s clear to me now that’s not something she wants from her art.
and that’s why she will always be our authentic queen. she does what SHE wants, how she wants, when she wants, and she does an amazing job of it every. single. time. elysium wil come when she’s ready for us to have it. ive really changed my perspective on her career lately. idk.
im so nervous to see how melanie & her team begin the elysium rollout, if this is done incorrectly or similar to the hades rollout in any way i fear there won’t ever be any future revival in her popularity which makes me so sad because her music IS genuinely that good idgaf
this thought just popped into my head randomly but now that im reading it back i feel like ive read this exact tweet before somewhere so if ive subconsciously stolen someone else’s tweet i do apologise #whoops#silly#lol#fyp
