First day on ADHD drugs, my mind has never felt so much at ease. It's like I've had a spa day. Can't believe normal people feel like that everyday.

Telling children they need to “transition” to fit into stereotypical binary ideas of gender is regressive and wrong, but that’s gender ideology for you.
They say 'don't waste a good crisis' and whether it's a living cost crisis, pandemic or war. These crises will be used to a) distract from the incompentancies of those in power and b) make you so very afraid, so that you follow all orders for the sake of 'being a good citizen'

Yes, NHS is shite (system itself mainly, from my personal experience working there) and wages and all, but to risk death, isn't right especially for those who are vulnerable, and winter times are already difficult.

Canada's full-on embrace and glamorization of "assisted suicide" for physically healthy people is one of the most dire and consequential things happening in the western world right now. And it's not getting nearly as much attention as it should.
Proposal to screen all children up to 8 years in USA for anxiety is interesting..not sure if through attention and focus to possibly developing anxiety symptoms, it'll create anxiety in the process of doing so. e.g. talk about feelings -> focus on the negative -> worse-off
There's a major in group vs out group mentality going on with right vs left groups. I think the expected thing is to bicker and destroy one another through disagreements. I think most important thing is not jumping down each other's throats.
One of the reasons why I've decided not do do a PhD, this pleasing others and defying your self worth in what others say about you, and also having to lick other people's shoes (symbollically), is soul destroying. Bending towards the expectations of others is painful.

Best way to protest for gay rights is definitely not through wearing rainbow armbands, but refusing to participate in the first place. Stop feeding the beast. It's hypocrisy. In this case, rainbow covered things doesn't show 'solidarity', it's just a meaningless symbol.
As soon as you start the dialogue with you shouldn't do X or Y, it's just control. People can make their own choices.
The problem with adjusting lifestyles to 'save the planet' i.e. eating less meat, or going plant based is not the action itself, but people at the top telling you what to do while they consume these things themselves or fly around the world in their private planes.
