Aid to Ukraine is largely made-in-America munitions and equipment. So military aid to Ukraine is as close to domestic defense spending as you can get, without actually being domestic.

Dems' agenda—which Manchin obliterated—included universal pre-K, free community college, child subsidies, dental & vision benefits, paid family leave, and elder care. On a per-person basis, West Virginians would have benefitted more than the residents of all but two other states.
