A grumpy old man (read: myself).. tries frontend. This is perspective of someone who been stuck in backend development for more than decade, after three days tinkering around @reactjs I can say.. not bad. I never loved JSF, I must finally say bye and thank you @apache_wicket 🫡

Hello, there are some improvements to @ApachePlc4x on the way. First is chunking of conversations. Happens when you try to get #opcua client connecting to S7-1200 server. Work in progress by @ldywicki.

Anyone using #gitkraken with large number of repos - please check out this proposal: feedback.gitkraken.com/sugge… Vote it if you find it a useful feature!
This article is too long for you: positech.co.uk/cliffsblog/20…. Oh dear I saw my youth in this article, except millions following it. ;) Paradox - posting long article on distracting service.

When a company breaks a product and wrecks decades of work it's natural to feel fury. Companies know this, so they try to deflect your rage by blaming their suppliers. Sometimes, it's suppliers who are at fault - but other times, there is plenty of blame to go around. 1/

Happy to announce the release of @ApachePlc4x 0.10.0. This release contains a number of great improvements with some of the existing drivers, a lot of fine-tuning on the auto-discovery and browse APIs as well as way to many improvements Twitter would feel me comfortable sharing.

"experimenting" with linux 6.0 on my desktop. Surprisingly nvidia driver is still working. ;-)

Are you sure? I got a 5.5 KW peak PV. I think it would currently cost around 9000 EUR. I get around 5000KWh per year. At 8ct/KWh that is 400 EUR. That is 22.5 years until break even. Not a good investment.

Lesson learned - double check mail provider api. @mailjet was happy delivering number of buggy messages I generated. Sadly I had no way to clear out queue, hence had to drop sender account to stop it from thing it is supposed to do. Still don't know is queue is cleared or not!

Adding sender domain causes old messages to go anyway. Hey @mailjet is there a way to clear up mail queue without waiting for all day for support to pickup ticket?

Hey @confiturapl, is cfp is still open? I can't submit second proposal.

Each change to templates requires you learning (sometimes) weird template logic and finding out proper location for overrides. Its never obvious of what to touch and where to put it. Call me an old grumpy man, but sometimes I miss stability of WSDL tooling 4/4.
If you find a trouble with single import there is no way to exclude it unless you modify templates. Changing it is always a pain as its if-then-else * 20 without any direct relation with input parameters. 3/N
Each java output is mixture of different options for date, serialization and who knows what else. You can't simply output basic jaxrs client stubs. You either go with Jersey or cxf or resteasy even if all you need is ClientBuilder. 2/N
Each time when I try to generate some #Java code from #openapi descriptor I have troubles. Why this thing has a dozen of configuration options for surrounding files but no unified option for excluding swagger annotations? 1/N
