Artists take notes
@nicedayJules believes in his work
Works tirelessly to find funding to show that work
Finds ways to lift other artists with that work
Uses that work to drive him to make even better work
Birds aren’t just art
It’s a way of living life to the fullest

Filmmaking can never be ethical. You are stealing light and sound and putting it inside a little box. That is not nice

was out last night and a guy said "i'm ex J.p. morgan but now i'm a blockchain developer"
i was like cool what kinda dev what are you building?
he goes "im a memecoin dev" 🤣
I went to the AirBnB host subreddit to read these supposed "meltdowns" over the new hosting rules but couldnt find anything remotely close to a meltdown. Pretty funny how rumors spread like that.

I was using em-dashes way before AI popularized it - you can check my older posts and articles as proof of that. It's the perfect tool for breaking up thoughts mid-sentence without it getting too long - always thought people should be using it more!
Now that it's *everywhere*, I'm starting to get annoyed by it all, honestly. The robots stole my thing! 🤖
From now on, it's all about colons; and perhaps, semicolons: we gotta stay ahead of the machines in one way or another, right?

Replying to @JeffTrendle
full dive vr will be huge. i think we will see a lot of weird eroticism - not a category error - coupled with things like p2p exchange of stored energy between interacting ensembles of minds - not rehashing old google squabbles over cookies
The more I trenches the less I understand about what is going to run.
Why would the 300,000th time someone creates the ticker "motion" be the one to finally run?
Wait. I'm surprised that people are surprised that zcash transactions are visible. You guys thought that it was actually anonymous? Haven't we known for years that these transactions are traceable?
That's why I was always so confused that people bought into the narrative. It was always obviously a giant pump and dump.

“We used our models to understand the device”
We discovered a sophisticated recording device that was hidden inside one of our offices. We used our models to understand the device and where it had come from, identifying that a specific employee had planted it a few days earlier. We referred the matter to the FBI, and we’re grateful to the agents and prosecutors who moved quickly to make an arrest. The FBI’s investigation is ongoing and we will continue to support their work.
At this time, we have no indications of this individual inappropriately accessing or exfiltrating model weights, source code, or customer data. The employee was terminated.
We take protecting our technology, data, and people seriously, and as a matter of national importance. Our security program is designed to protect against a wide range of threat actors, from insider risks to cybercriminals to nation states, and this case is an example of how AI can help address these sophisticated security threats.
when @TransientLabs approached me with this idea, I was sceptical, shocked even. “what are you saying? I dont make art for machines!”
but the more we debated, the more relevant it felt, and it became an obsession
so did making all 1024 gifs manually, each with 2 states
