#American democracy is so easily manipulated by bad actors; it is critical we #educate our people from kindergarten to the 12th grade in #CIVICS. #STEM-C.

Protected by our first amendment, information is the life-blood of our nation. Distortion via biased #journalism can only lead to its eventual degradation.

The #media is meant to be our Independant feedback loop on the world, our nation, its government and people. Although entertaining, to abuse it via biased #journalism using political #propaganda is beyond reprehensible.

By 1776 the average American soldier stood nearly three inches taller than the redcoat sent to put him down. They were the same people. Same villages, same surnames, same blood, separated by three or four generations and one ocean. The Englishman had grown up on bread and the game laws. His deer belonged to the king, his rabbits to the squire, and his common had been fenced. The American had grown up in a country with no lord, no keeper and no forest law. William Penn wrote the right to hunt and fish into Pennsylvania's founding charter. Vermont put it in its constitution. Colonial Americans ate somewhere between 150 and 200lb of meat a year each. Emigrants wrote the same line home for 200 years: we have meat three times a day. Height is what a childhood of meat looks like from the outside. England proves it from the other direction. In 1800 a 14 year old cadet at Sandhurst, raised on beef and mutton, stood about eight inches taller than a 14 year old from the London slums recruited for the navy. So the English ruling class knew perfectly well what meat does to a child. They had the evidence at their own dinner table. They simply kept it there. The ones who got away grew three inches and then beat them in a war.

Folks, this list isn’t a test. It’s an invitation. You don’t have to become a new person overnight. Just start with one line on this list tomorrow morning. Water. Sunlight. A walk. Save the list. Do one thing. Then do it again the next day. You are allowed to want a life that feels lighter.

As some of you know, Bobby Kennedy @RobertKennedyJr is one of my oldest and best friends. I am so proud to know him. I was involved in his Presidential compaign and it's one of the high points of my life. I truly have seen him deliver over well over two hundred speeches, including one of the best I ever saw in Boston as he announced his run. I have lost many of what I thought were friends for supporting him, and tonight I truly do not care. His speech tonight laid it all out as purely and cleanly as anyone could will ever do. Where were are, and what we are up against, in a way no other former Democrat has been able, or has had the courage to say. Please, if you didn't see it. Watch it. I am so proud of this great American and so glad we all have him in our camp and on our side. All of us Democrats and Republicans.

Diversity is a survival value. One strain of wheat in a field of wheat can be taken out by one disease. One diseased way of thinking can ruin humanity. #diversity #FreedomOfSpeech

AI is going to make PI much more valuable. (Personal Interaction.) When everyone can write the perfect email, the advantage will go to the person willing to walk across the room and introduce themselves.

The Atlantic just ran a piece called "The Age of Reading Is Over." We are literally losing the ability to read anything longer than an Instagram post. This is not good. Think about history for a second. During the slave trade, what was the one thing punishable by death? Teaching a slave to read. Why? Because tyrants have always known that literacy is the ultimate key to human freedom. Less than half of American adults read a single book in 2022. It’s so bad that a staffer at Harvard actually complained that assigning books to students is "arbitrarily withholding information" because it forces them to use a "difficult medium." Let that sink in. IVY LEAGUE STUDENTS have a hard time reading something and then paraphrasing it. If we stop reading, we go straight back to the dark ages. We'll be sitting around waiting for a government agency or an AI script to tell us what the Constitution means through a paraphrased post on X.

The senate just confirmed that we live in a country where the elected public servants deliberately ignore the will of the people.
